Everything was clean. Plenty of towels. Great rate. Heat was very good and the working fireplace was a very nice touch. Great location.
However:
1. The provided hair dryer did not work
2. The provided make-up mirror did not light.
3. To get warm or hot water, you had to run it wide open for at least 5 minutes, sometimes longer. Big waste of water. And time. This was every single time, not just the first time we used water.
4. For some reason, they do not seem to use fitted sheets on the beds. I had a king bed. The bottom sheet was a top sheet from a smaller bed that was turned sideways, leaving about 2 feet of space at the bottom of the bed not covering the mattress pad. As a tall person, this was gross to me. I kept thinking about the person’s feet who last slept in this bed. As it’s unlikely they wash the mattress pad after every rental, I was especially displeased. This must be a regular, usual thing as I remembered this occurred the last time I stayed here, which I had forgotten about.
4. No outside garbage cans, which would be helpful in removing trash from your car.
