We spent five nights in Hotel Moderno. The best part was the people. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us great advice on towns to visit and bus stop locations. They made us feel like family. Perfect location for train and bus. The hotel and room were immaculate and the breakfast tasty. Wonderful experience.

Fantastic Hotel

Wonderful quiet, clean family run hotel. After being stranded by the train strike we walked across and found this wonderful hotel. When we return we would no hesitate to stay here and travel on day tripa through Umbria.

It is a very, very nice hotel. The location is excellent because it is across the street from the train and bus stations. It is lovely and quiet on the inside, parking is easy and driving to supermarkets or laundromat is easy. Bus to Assisi is very convenient. Food is good.

The hotel is located just across the train station which very convenient. The room temperature was uncomfortably cold inspite of high heat setting. Limited choices for breakfast. An attendant had to dole out the food; you are not supposed to be able to help yourself.

El Staff es una familia, siempre muy atentos y amables. Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero estan remodeladas a nuevo y han sido muy comodas. El desayuno no es un buffet completo, pero el café es expreso y las tortas son caseras y muy recomendables. El salón es muy cómodo. Está frente a la estación del tren y hay buses y taxis siempre disponibles. El vecindario es muy tranquilo y hay varios restaurantes a pocas cuadras. Optamos por cenar en el hotel y el menú es casero, bien servido y a precios razonables. Volveriamos sin duda

En general muy bien, hotel ubicado frente a la estación de tren. Muy limpio, personal amable, muy buena atención, lo único es que rígidos en el horario del check out, pedimos una hora más por la hora de salida del tren, pero no aceptaron, solo nos ofrecieron dejar las maletas mientras nor retirabamos. Desayuno buffet con poca variedad, era lo mismo siempre.

This is the ideal choice for someone who wants to visit Assisi for a day. It is close to the train station so you can drop off your bags when you arrive and then continue with your visit. I would emphasize that it truly is a "Modern Hotel" and the staff were very nice and accommodating.
