Two cars at least got broken into that were parked overnight . There windows were busted not sure if anything was stolen. Clearly not a good neighborhood. Not a trustworthy area.

The hotel is under construction. We were not advised of this until after check in. Upon going to the second floor there several workers in the hall way. All signs for direction to rooms were removed. The walls had no wall paper and had what resembles blood but was just a mixture of red and white paint on the wall. There was dust everywhere from construction. We could hear everything from the other rooms likely due to a lack of insulation bc of the repairs being made. Our doors were numbered with tape and numbers written in them. The tub felt like there was sand in it. We had to call security in the middle of the night because of the constant banging and yelling in another room in our area that continued through out the night. Overall the hotel description is poorly represented as well and patrons should be aware of conditions and construction taking place. Left message for management to be advised. We also could not cancel reservation bc we were not advised of the state of construction until hotel was confirmed. It was also not visible from the outside. We were disappointed and taken advantage of.

Room had been rehabbed but the halls were not in good repair. No wall covering or paint, trash in the halls. The hotel is under rehab and therefore the cleaning is not up to par. This should have been disclosed at the time of booking!!

My family and I were in town from Louisiana for a dance competition. The receptionist, Ms. Malaika, was awesome! She made our stay very welcoming! The room was extremely clean! The area is great! The hospitality is just exceptional! 10/10 I highly recommend!

Staff was very courteous. Breakfast was very good. The hallways as well as the room could have used a vacuuming. There was noticeable dirt and debris on the floors in the main hallway and the room appeared to have been superficiallly vacuumed and there was still dust and debris on the floors

The night Staff was rude to me and my son . Any thing that you asked her she had a smart remark for . She wasn’t friendly at all. The morning staff as well. I said good morning and she just looked at me . Then said just put it in the box, I guess referring to the key . Not what i expect from Hampton Inn

The phone didn’t work…maintenance fixed it (new cord). 😉 The floor in the kitchenette area was slippery with oil/grease of some kind (slip hazard)… housekeeping took care of it 😉 There was NO hot water. Maintenance came to repair, however there still wasn’t hot water the entirety of our stay. Management discounted the price.
