I gave this hotel a poor review due to the number of issues we experienced during our stay. When we first arrived, we were put into a room that was not what I had reserved. I notified the front desk, and while the staff member was polite and tried to help, it took over an hour to get us moved into the correct room. This was frustrating as we were in town for a soccer tournament and I had exhausted kids ready for bed.
Once we finally got settled and unpacked, we pulled out the sofa bed only to find there were no sheets or blankets. I had to go back down to the front desk to request them. Unfortunately, the sofa bed itself was awful and didn’t even lay flat. My son was elevated at an angle and couldn’t sleep. After a few hours of trying, we ended up all piling into one bed together.
To make matters worse, there was also a leak coming from the shower or toilet. I called the front desk again and requested another room. In total, we were moved to three different rooms within 12 hours, which is unacceptable.
Additionally, one of the elevators was not working during our stay, adding to the inconvenience.
The staff did try to be accommodating, and I appreciate their efforts. However, given everything we dealt with, I asked the manager if he would consider refunding one night of our stay due to the repeated room changes and issues. He said he would apply a discount. After checking out and calling to confirm, I discovered that only $45 was refunded, which feels completely unreasonable
