Wonderful staff and service, but could use some improvements around some details in the room: make sure the bath tub drains well, don't let your guest find only 2 pieces of tissues in the tissue box when it's needed, and why is there only 1 regular coffee stocked in a room meant for 2?

The room had a moldy smell and the heating system was really loud when trying to sleep and kept me up. I also made a room service order for breakfast that was also never delivered. I called to check on the orderp and was told that it was on the elevator coming up and after one hour, I still did not receive my order. When I contacted in room dinning, I was told that there was a mixed up with my order but never contacted me to inform me until I contacted them. I ended up canceling the order because I was forced to find other means for breakfast.

Great concept, poor execution.

Hotel looks great from the outside. $30 a day to park somewhere you’re staying is a little wild. Hotel staff was friendly. Lobby was nice. Rooms look nice, and bed was comfortable. Decent view. Biggest issue was the bathroom and shower. The barn style sliding door didn’t keep the bathroom warm during a shower. The shower itself is small. Had almost ZERO water pressure, and the non sliding half glass partition made it so you stayed cold, and water went everywhere. Overall the hotel has a great appearance, but leaves much to be desired

Our stay at The Sterling was wonderful. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were nice and clean. Although it was a bit noisy at night from guests returning from a night out, it wasn’t too disruptive. The hotel is conveniently located next to Piedmont Park, which we enjoyed exploring, and we savored a delightful cocktail in their lounge, where a cool vibe and live DJ added to the experience. In addition, there are plenty of nearby places to eat—from charming local cafes to upscale restaurants—offering a wide variety of dining options to suit every taste.

Fun hotel, beware of parking cost.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past 30 years, under many flags, and numerous renovations. We like the location. However, this time I was struck by the ridiculously high cost of parking- $65 per night (higher than anyplace I have ever seen including NYC) and the frustration of my request for housekeeping to come and tighten a lose toilet seat that was replied (twice) by what must have been a bad IA message offering regrets for the noise in the corridor… no noise never complained. Otherwise, the hotel has a strange fun vibe and is very clean.

First time going to this hotel but it definitely will not be my last. One of the best stays I have had in a long time. In a great location, friendly staff, nice vibes a lot to do and eat on site. You will not be disappointed. Expect to pay to park
