Not as advertised
The owner told me very last minute, that it was a basement. However, this was a garage turned into a unit. I had to enter the back to get in and door was not secure.This place was supposed to accommodate 3 people, but there was a full sized bed and a sofa sleeper. Did not provide linen for sofa sleeper. Also, the advertisement stated washer and dryer and there
wasn’t any. To make matters worse, when I pulled out the sofa bed looking for linen, there was several bugs dead and live behind it. I did not rest at all! And had to show up for my first day of my contract, at 6:45 am. It
was freezing cold down there thank god they had a
space heater. Last but not lease when I spoke with
host about the issues and cancellation, he was quick and asked if I could be out by 11am. I offered to give him detail about the house keeping and he shut me down. This was a terrible experience and he said I would be refunded and I get a message stating that I was only getting half my money back and still haven’t received it. I don’t think I will ever book through VRBO again
