A Place At The Beach offers extensive amenities and one of the best family getaways imaginable - there's practically no reason to ever leave the resort grounds! Can't you just see the excitement on your children's faces as they approach the outdoor swimming pool and water slide or the nine-hole putt-putt golf course? Don't forget about the hot tub, the shuffleboard, the tennis and basketball courts, the game room, and the gas grills. There's even an indoor pool should the rain ever decide to move in. Ready to hit the beach? You can follow the walkway to the beautiful, white sand of the Crystal Coast and ride the waves, soak up the sun, or collect seashells.

This third-floor, courtyard condo is full of color and light. Enjoy a living room with a 32-inch TV, a DVD player, and a CD player/stereo, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. There's also a private balcony, free WiFi throughout the condo, and coin-operated laundry facilities on-site.

Description of unit is accurate. Tv was going out in bedroom. Enjoyed balcony view. Equipped kitchen, could use some more pans/baking pieces. Over all our family of 4 enjoyed the unit and had plenty of room.

Wonderful amenities for families. Small space but who needs a lot of space when your at the beach. Master bed is lacking for comfort and very noisy, needs replaced.

Great resort feeling

The condo was great and proximity to the beach were awesome. We got a ton of time in the pool, on the slide, at the putt-putt. All in all a great place for families.

Huge inconveniences, and poorly kept

We come to Morehead City every year love the area, but the problem seems be be we must have to high of standards on how well each condo is kept , as far as cleanliness and all equipment being 100% in good working order. This last condo we rented was so disgusting if it wasn't peck season I would have walked away. We had nothing but a major huge headache from the time we got our keys until we checked out... Started out with not being 100% honest on describing these condos, while looking before booking . With only (ONE) elevator per building to 100's of units per building, and the buildings being a freaking maze and not having enough signs guiding directionally impaired people where to go. Oh and that one elevator in building (L) wasn't working over half the time in the 7 days we were there. That was first huge headache. My husband & I had to hand carry 6 heavy bags of luggage up 3 flights of stairs. With me just having hip replacement surgery. And bone on bone on my left knee, along with my husband having serious back and knee issues. We're both in our 60's. Had I known there was Only one elevator would have book a ground floor room. Getting into the room it's self was another issue, with the locks on the door not working properly. We thought we would avoid this issue by just not using the knob lock bye to the fact it was to worse one , to unlock. And for some reason it would lock on it's own, once while we where out of the room & again while I was in the room alone. I could not get it unlocked, the lock had to be replaced. Once in the condo I was immediately angered even more by the fact that the only thing the cleaning service did was leave clean towels and put clean sheets on the beds. We did not have clean blankets or shower curtains.Dust, dirt,&sand everywhere ,even on the couches along with the couch covers and the throw pillows being disgustingly filthy! Coffee and coffee grounds in the coffee pot. Refrigerator was so gross. So needless to say I spent that evening cleaning this condo and putting all the disgusting blankets in the closet. Luckily I bring my own. Also bring our own coffee maker and we purchase our own cups, bowels , plates& cutlery to use. There's no place to put your belongings in the master bedroom but only 2 standard size bed size night stands. And only a few hangers in the closet. We where verbally told by 2 different people that our cleaning fee was going to be refunded but so far haven't seen any refund

Beach condo

There was no communication about check in, and the kitchen was not supplied very well, not like other kitchens in the complex, that we have rented before. No sheets for pull out couch.
