Parking is always very tight. Rooms could stand some updates. Bedding seriously needs to be updated. I new quality mattress would have made this review higher rated. We have stayed here several times and it’s not bad for the price. Our room had a very tight bathroom and no lighting in the very dark tiny shower stall.

Great stay, convenient, and check in was easy. Only issue was parking. Even though there were vacancies there was not enough parking. On our second night there was an oversized pickup truck blocking the entrance and again parking overnight was an issue as well.

This is your typical, older, old-school shore "mom and pop" shore motel. Although the room was dated, everything was clean, in good repair, and comfortable. We had a small two-room unit, with a queen bed in its own (small) room and a queen bed in the main area, which also had a small kitchenette with a two-burner stove, coffee maker, etc. Absolutely nothing for us to complain about as the amenities matched our expectations for the price. Convenient location a few blocks from the boardwalk and a few blocks from lots of restaurants and shopping options. We'd stay there again.

Ok for one night but needs improvements

Sofas dingy.. felt itchy when we sat on them . Maybe consider cleaning and putting plastic on them … bed felt like a cardboard box.. bathroom paint looked like asbestos .. no shelf at all on shower for any items …black mold in corner of bedroom

I have stayed at Sifting Sands during the MSBike ride for a decade. My family likes the stay there. The pool is great. It's close to the boardwalk. And it a great place to bed down while visiting Ocean City. The rooms are small, but they've always maximized bed space.
