Phyllis the bartender at the Vue was excellent. The view from our room was excellent but the check in took approximately 45 min & the topper was no towels or wash clothes in our room & repeated calls to front desk gave no results.

I got in line at 3:30 PM for the 4 PM check-in and my room wasn’t available until 6:30 PM. This was very inconvenient and not accommodating because my son is autistic and we already took a 5 hour bus ride to get there. I checked on my room to be available twice, but the third time my son had thrown up after eating at their restaurant. Even with the throw up all over him, they still didn’t have a room ready and didn’t have any apology for the inconvenience. I even offered to pay more for a different room and there was no option. I was told that just because check-in is at 4 PM does not mean I will have a room ready at 4 PM. Once my room was finally ready, I got into my room and found a weed vape on the floor which led me to believe my room was not even properly cleaned. I tried to make the best of it and take my son to the pool, but the pool water was dark and seemed dirty. I have stayed in over 10 different hotels in AC throughout the years, but this was probably my worst experience in a hotel in Atlantic City ever.

I had a terrible experience the room was dirty and smelled bad. We were assigned to another room, and the room was filthy there was hair all over the bathroorm. I highly dont recommend anyone to stay at the Clarige Hotel is disgusting!!!

I liked that you can walk from property and within a few yards you’re right on the boardwalk. I liked that it was quiet. I did not like the long line of people waiting to be checked in and just one person at the front desk. I did not like that it had no bath towels in the room until I called and asked for some the following day. The ice machine did not work on my floor. The cushions on lobby furniture didn’t look clean but that’s only because they are old. The gift/coffee shop in corner of lobby is new and nice and almost goes unnoticed.

If I could give this stay zero stars, I absolutely would. This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences my family and I have ever had. To begin with, despite arriving shortly after 4:00 p.m., my husband, son, and I waited nearly five hours before the front desk called us for our room. Once we finally checked in, we were extremely disappointed to find that the beds were much smaller than advertised online. My husband and I ended up sharing what felt like a twin/full-sized bed, which was both uncomfortable and left us with back pain the next day. The service was equally disappointing. The front desk staff were rude and unhelpful, showing no sense of hospitality. I had to call four separate times just to request towels and washcloths, which should have been a basic standard. On top of that, we couldn’t even reheat food we had purchased. The kitchen staff refused to assist us with reheating our meal, including a dinner we spent good money on from Red Lobster. Overall, this stay was terrible from start to finish. Poor service, misleading room descriptions, and a complete lack of care for guests. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel, and I will never return.

It was a long line to get checked in, but the service was great. I had two rooms but wasn’t on the same floor. Ice machine was down but the refrigerator did work. The room was so quiet that I heard the drops of the AC on the outside of the window. I loved that there were 2 restaurants in the building. I didn’t get the chance to visit the rooftop, since I had the grandkids and after 9pm, nobody under 21 is allowed. Overall, it was good. Will like to visit again.
