Tämä hiljattain remontoitu kiinteistö on käyttänyt monia hattuja sen elämässä. Aloitetaan kirkkona noin 100 vuotta sitten ja nyt muutettu hiljattain 3 makuuhuoneeksi ja 1. 5 kylpyhuoneeksi kotiin. Tämän 2000 + neliömetrin yhden kerroksen asumisen, korkeat katot ja erittäin avoin pohjaratkaisu, jonka tämä koti on rakennettu viihdyttäväksi. Tulet huomaamaan, että kaikki sen seinien sisällä on uusi ja täysin uusittu. Koko kylpyhuoneessa on suuri suihkukaappi, jossa on enemmän suihkusuuttimia kuin yksi käsi.

Tämä majoituspaikka sijaitsee Painesdalessa, joka on noin 10 kilometrin päässä Houghtonista. Pääsy moottorikelkka- / atvareitille on lähellä, ja löydät tämän kiinteistön runsaasti pysäköintitilaa autoillesi, perävaunuillesi ja leluillesi. Tämä koti tekisi suuren kodin tukikohdaksi suurille ryhmille, jotka haluavat päästä pois Yhdysvalloissa.

We love staying at this house. It is close to the Keweenaw, Michigan Tech, etc. And about an hour to a lot of other attractions. Kitchen is well stocked and the shower is nice (just be sure to space the showers out so the hot water heater can catch up).

As noted in the listing, this location is not completely in a finished state. It doesn't appear that any more work will be done on it. The kitchen and bathroom were nice. We liked the gas stove and the baggies/foil, etc. available in the drawer. There was a lot of space which was great. However, the fridge hadn't been wiped out, and some food was left in the freezer. The outside of the building looks terrible, and the area felt a bit sketchy. We didn't spend a lot of time in the VRBO, so it wasn't a big deal. We used it as a base to get to Houghton, the northern Keweenaw Peninsula, and the Porcupine Mountains. Some things we didn't like: 1. No disposal in the kitchen sink, 2. The dishwasher wasn't properly attached so it lurched forward when full, 3. No window covering in the half bath, 4. No tissues in the bathrooms, 5. No washer/dryer, 6. The door entrance code was extremely generic which made us feel uncomfortable (this was a biggie!).

The listing says it's not finished, but it's pretty finished; no complaints about the state of things—adds a certain charm, honestly. Still, I appreciate the transparency and its reflection in the price; the owners didn't have to do that, so you know they're decent folks. It's like that up there in Copper Country.Everything was clean, well kept, and sell stocked. Kitchen has everything you'd want or need from pots and pans to utensils and napkins. Tons of appliances.Bed rooms were all made and had everything you'd need in them. Shower is spacious and quiet nice. There's enough hot water for about two showers.Loving room is big and open. We'll be staying again in the future! Highly recommended.

Very spacious and new, beds were comfortable and shower was amazing! Plenty of towels. Kitchen was well equipped, more so than other places. They are still working on the place and believe there will be a laundry room eventually, that would be a hugh asset.

Perfect place for my girl family trip. Property is located just off the main road which was actually quite convenient for us. Lots of room, very cozy beds, plenty of seating, lovely place. Highly recommend and would definitely book again if we came back!!

Very spacious home with modern updates to a historical building. Bit noisy due to being so close to a main road, but with the AC units in each bedroom and in the main living space it was easy to drown it out. Host was great to work with especially when our phone map was trying to take us to a non existent place, the host sent us a pin so we could get to the right place. Will definitely consider staying there again

Wonderful stay

My family and I just returned from our stay here. We loved the cleanliness and roominess of this place. My grandson had a tour at Michigan Tech and it was very close to Houghton. Most of our sightseeing was about an hour away, a few were a little further. I would have liked a notebook or some guidance about taking care of our sheets and towels. Hoping we didn't miss doing something we should have done. We'd definitely love to stay here again.

Great location if you’re looking to explore the Keweenaw and the Porkies. Only a 15 minute drive to downtown Houghton. House has a very open floor plan is very modern. Great space to hang out in between excursions.

Don’t let the outside scare you away! Beautiful stay!!

We pulled up to the home and I was a little nervous given the worn appearance. The inside looks exactly like the photos. It is absolutely gorgeous and the kitchen is very well equipped. Beautiful full bathroom. Loved the kid’s dishes that were available too. The bathroom smelled very clean when we entered, which we loved. Lots of games available. I would love to see instructions for check out/things to know if we ever stayed again.

Good snowmobile place

Went up snowmobiling with a group of 5 guys. Everything was as advertised and worked good for us. Nice clean and roomy inside. Trailer parking was tight because of snow banks with a 28’ gooseneck enclosed.
