Modern and centrally located hotel. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. We enjoyed chocolate hour and the buffet breakfast on level 13 - which has incredible views of the harbour and city. Walking distance to plenty of dining options. Valet parking was reasonable value & convenient.

Room is ok. Cleaning staff were very persistent about cleaning our room on the first morning before 10am when exhausted from travelling. And here’s a serious negative - Mövenpick Hotel with a trolley of Movenpick ice cream in it the lobby, and you can’t offer your guests a free scoop of ice cream? Bit mean. Overpriced. You’re just paying for the location.

Wifi was extremely weak, air conditioning didn’t cool the room (said it was on but barely any air flow), found staff rude and unhelpful with information like when their parking was full or when the water went out. When we had to move our car they wouldn’t move cars the valet (which was full so we couldn’t use). Had to back into new years traffic with no help from staff.

Clean, comfortable, friendly customer service. The only note I have is that if they truly want you to reuse towels, then they need to add more hooks, preferably not 20ft up the ceiling ;-). It would also be nice to have a shelf in the bathroom. Oh- the bath and body products were fabulous!

The hotel is very clearly understaffed even at a crowded time near Christmas. We had to wait 15 mins for checkin. They refused to help unload the car for 60$ valet parking. We were in the elevator in the opposite corner from the room key scanner - we asked a staff member to press our floor number - they pretended not to hear us and got off at their own floor. All of these small things added up to not a great stay - would rather pay more at nearby hotels and enjoy actual 5 star customer service.

I was there for two nights. Housekeeping was late both days (after 5PM). There was a free chocolate buffet available to guests on the 13th floor. I prepared a small plate to take to my travel companion and was stopped by staff and told I couldn't take it back to my room. There were no signs posting this rule.

Excellent location, very good veiws , very nice room all round . Very comfy beds , i would have given full stars but it was hard to put the car anywhere to get my luggage out and check in . All in all great accommodation and i would highly re ommend staying there T Thanks 🙂
