It's a bit lower than the 5 star review even though it is very new and nicely equipped. The daily housekeeping was particularly substandard. We stayed for 4 nights, and one day the hot chocolate packages were not replaced, another day the empty Kleenex box was not replaced, and the next day the used tea cups and saucers and the hand towel were not replaced, and even though the toilet paper roll was almost used up there were no additional rolls provided. These are pretty standard stuff in daily housekeeping.

We had a wonderful stay at Horizon by SkyCity. Room very clean, staff very friendly. Make sure you have dinner at The Grill restaurant. Food was delicious, great wine & friendly staff.

I really enjoyed our second stay at Horizon, away from the busy vibes of Sky City. It feels intimate, luxurious, and personal with such a friendly staff. As soon as you step on the bridge from main building, you can relax, feel safe and calm, looking forward to your beautiful room and very comfortable bed.

I borrowed 2 umbrellas due to rain forecast and told will hole a deposit of $100. I returned after my back to the hotel the same day and was told the deposit will be removed from my account. The next day, I found the $100 deposit still in my account and I went down to the lobby and asked them to remove it. After checking the umbrellas the hotel stuff confirmed the deposit will be removed. But when I checked the account on the TV before sleep, the $100 still in my account! Then I call the front desk and it took sometime, the deposit eventually been removed.

Everyting was exceptional! From vallet parking and bag service on arrival, to easy check in, great advice and recomendations right through to checkout. We were only there overnight but it was a great experience. Staff were so friendly and helpful, Rooms were clean, cozy, comfortable a d location was amazing and close to stores fold and shopping.
