We really enjoyed our stay. We booked a king suite and it was wonderful—so much space, great water pressure, comfortable bed and pillows, and such a friendly and welcoming staff. Loved the view and so quiet. Plus very walkable to the viaduct and eateries. Would definitely stay here again.

Our room aircon was broken. Four trip to the lobby, on mtc tech visit and eight hours later we were shifted to another room close to midnight. To their credit the staff and duty manager did apologize and comp a free breakfast for tge family but it ruined a perfectly good day in auckland. Location is great and rooms and amenities are on par wuth a premium hotel but I regret to say my experience on the first day was dismal. The classiest solution offered was that I should settle for a fan and it takes more than 8 hours for a room that’s 33 sq m to cool a half a degree centigrade. To her credit Rhea at the fromt desk and Caleb at the concierge desk did their best to salvage tge trainwreck of a stay but they can certainly do better
