Good on a budget

This is a solid stay for those on a budget. It was comfy and had good security and safety (which is a must for a solo traveler). There were some minor areas in the room that showed its age/wear but on the whole it was good for what I paid.

The bathroom could’ve used a good clean after each person the tiles had mould inbetween the gaps. The towel that I was given from room service was dirty and has crust on it. Net curtain in bedroom also had mould on it. Also the condensation that builds up in the room because of the shower is crazy and the sliding door fully condensates after just 1 person showering with the fan on. Hope things significantly improve by our November stay as have already booked this in and paid for. The car parking situation is lovely and safe but is difficult with leaving and entering with having to notify reception when leaving. Surely can make it so your hotel card can and can’t depends if you bought a car park spot or not activate the lift to the basement or enter the carpark too.

Great place in the city for a quick stay. Centrally located and very clean. Starting to show its age in the bathroom but all other amenities excellent. Bed was very comfy and room great.

On arriving at the accommodation we understood why we needed to pay a bond of $250 after viewing our room it was extremely disappointing as the toilet seat was half detached and the shower head was damaged to the point it needed replacing which potentially could cause risk of slipping The amount of water that ended up on the floor had to be mopped up with towel. Mold was all over the shower tiles. Shower curtain was mouldy. Frayed carpet, the cabinets in the kitchen were swollen with water damage there were scrapes on the walls. We had gone back downstairs that day to let the staff at the front desk know this. On leaving we did alert staff to theses issues we did not get an apology we were told that they would be renovating them next year and that was the reasoning behind the Lower rates. Although we did enjoy the amenities of the swimming pool etc. Its disappointing as all of these issues didn’t seem to be taken seriously. Its actually not a matter of how much you pay for a room it’s the fact that most of the issues that we saw should have been fixed because we paid for a room with a working shower and a toilet that we could sit on. The staff were lovely and polite it’s disappointing that it seemed to be something the staff were used to hearing. I’m not a person that complains but I feel this was something I wanted to let people know about.

Stayed for 1 night and it was lovely, the room was comfortable with a kitchenette and bathroom (even if the bathroom was a little outdated). It was great for being so central and walk-able, plus got it pretty cheap. Not bad for a place with a free gym, pool and sauna available in the stay.

Was a good place close to the city. Only downside was we didn’t have access to the basement with our key and had to ask at reception when we wanted to go down there to access our vehicle
