Handy location but noisy

Hotel is in a handy location as it is around a 15 minute walk to airports or you can catch the bus that stops right outside main entrance of hotel. I personally would not stay again because of the noise which kept me awake most of the night. Each floor has a long narrow passage way with alot of rooms either side, therefore each floor houses many people. I heard foot traffic coming and going, doors banging, people talking (loudly) all throught night into early hours of morning. If you are a deep sleeper and noise doesnt bother you, this place will suit you well.

In an area where hotel rooms are expensive the Ibis was just what was needed after a 24hrs flight. An easy walk from the international terminal and a small but clean room. Supermarkets and car rental all nearby. Would recommend.

The receptionist did not greet us, with a hello how are you. She just sat there and I had to ask her to repeat what she did say when informing us of our room number etc. All this without a smile. This is not what NZ should have at the front desk. This is their job. The guy at the desk in the morning was very hospitable something your front girl should take a lesson in.

Property was very basic and simple. But clean and had everything you needed. Restaurant next door and grocery store a few blocks away. Hotel had paid shuttle to airport which was very easy and convenient.

Great location and friendly staff. Cafes and grocery store 5mins away. Walking distance to Airport and bus services at the door. Rooms weren't very soundproof, but the bed was super comfortable. Our air-conditioning didn't work so we had to leave our door open all night. We mentioned this to reception in the morning and they apologized profusely ans said we should have reported it and they would have sorted it. Yes, we should've. We would definitely stay again though.

From Budget to Basic…

Ibis should change the name from Budget to Basic! A very “functional” hotel 900m from Auckland airport. Room was small and basic. Bed was on casters which kept moving about. Only space for luggage was on the floor. Clean and tidy, but most of the room taken up with the bed.

Tiny rooms but close to Auckland Airport

The only reason to stay here is that it is next to Auckland Airport. The rooms are microscopic. Probably OK if you're on your own but it's a challenge if there are two of you!

The location is within walking distance from the airport. The bed was very comfortable. The room was small but that was all I needed. The restaurant beside the Ibis was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The best thing about this hotel is leaving it.

Probably the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Rooms are tiny, beds are like concrete, no comforts at all. Tiny TV and the bedside lights don’t work. Noisy all night. We hated it.
