House is 10-15 minutes from downtown and is also very close to wedding venues in the Hill Country. There is a large shopping center within a five minute drive with everything you need. Restaurants and bars also close including the new "Menchaca district" huge outdoor very fun bar scene less than ten minutes away. Great location!

We only used master bedroom and were not at all satisfied. Sheets and bedding was shabby. Pillowcases did not fit pillows. Bed felt unclean. As requested, we stripped the bed and was shocked to see the condition of the mattress pad. Only a few (5) hangers were available for our use. The host did leave plenty of bottled water in the refrigerator and responded when I reached out for information when we arrived. Although this house was a very convenient location, I am not sure I would stay here again. The host would definitely need to upgrade bed linens and comfort items.

This was our second stay at the Cattle house, it’s an ideal spot for us. The quiet residential neighborhood is great, house was very clean, and the fenced yard works great for our dog. Stores and restaurants within close driving distance. All makes for a great stay.

We loved the neighborhood and enjoyed hiking at dick nichols park. You can get there through the neighborhood for a nice long walk. House was perfect for us and our dogs. Spent some time in Austin and also in HillCountry.

The house fit our family well and was comfortable. We loved the backyard for our dog. The house just felt a little dirty. The bathrooms had hair in all the drains, mold around the corners, and hair in the sink. The washer and dryer were full of linens and sheets still damp from last persons stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Cattle house. It’s in a quiet residential neighborhood with sidewalks that made it easy to walk our dog and was nice to have the fully fenced back yard. Very convenient location. The kitchen had what we needed for cooking and an HEB close by. The beds were comfortable. Communication with the host was easy and efficient. Great for what we needed, we would stay here again.

We enjoyed our fall stay in Austin! The house was as listed with easy parking, close to downtown, with grocery stores and food nearby. 2 cons: the yard had dry dog poop all over and the bed sheets/towels were smelly probably from the front load washing machine. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Neil!

The house is very nice and comfortable. The big problem with this house is the old AC unit. It cannot cool the house when outside temperature exceeds 20deg from inside. Owner did respond promptly but was no help during my stay.

Overall, good stay! Homey property

The property was nice and we were pleased with the items on site such as pack and play, high chair, iron, and hair tools. The master bathroom was slightly dirty with a large fake eye lash on the floor and stains on the towels. Water pressure was so so and shower heads were very short. We had to buy trash bags for our stay and a lighter to light the fireplace which was one of our only sources of warmth since the thermostat kept auto changing to a cooler temp. Kitchen was fully stocked otherwise and had dishwasher pods under the sink to run loads. The beds were very comfortable and we liked that we were close to things but not so close that it was loud or bad traffic. I’d probably give it a 6/10 overall simply because of the trash bags, master bath, and temperatures. Good stay otherwise!
