Enjoy a peaceful stay in this artsy one bedroom back house filled with plants, personality and a true Austin vibe. You will find a fully stocked kitchen to make your favorite dishes or snacks. Lounge on the couch and binge watch some Netflix on the TV. The bathroom is recently updated and includes a beautiful claw foot tub. Step out the back doors and onto the deck to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine.

We call the space the 'back house' because it is a converted garage. Although you would never know it as you step through the door and see the vaulted ceilings with skylights. It’s super cozy but feels very spacious at the same time.

We typically rent the main house out through Airbnb as well so there is a very good possibility that you will see our other guests.

Is the yard fenced?
The backyard area is fenced.

Are long showers possible?
We have a tankless water heater, so hot water is not an issue.

Is noise an issue?
It is a very quiet area. Our front house guests sometimes use their back yard area and we sometimes hear them. Guests are typically super respectful and have a 10pm quiet policy.

What is the parking situation?
There is plenty of parking for a car or two in the driveway. You may see our cars stored on the side.

Is the space wheelchair friendly?
The entire house is one level and the doorway to the bedroom is fairly wide. No steps.

How do I check in?
A day or two before your arrival, we send the details for your check in: address, door code, wifi info. You will be able to come and go using a code. Your personal code is activated at 3 pm, so if you request an early check in the code may not work. Just remind us!

Is a Pack n Play Available?
If you let us know ahead of time, we can have a pack n pland and/or high chair at the house for you.

Can I extend a stay?
To extend a stay, you can request through the app or message us. We will check the calendar then send confirmation with the new payout.

Can I change or cancel my reservation?
We have a moderate cancellation policy. It may vary a bit between platforms, but usually 5 days prior to arrival guests may receive a full refund. If a guests wants to make changes within the five days arrival or after arrival, we cannot provide a refund.

Are pets allowed?
We love dogs and love to host but they do cause more complications for our cleaning crew. We have a limit of 2 dogs with a 100.00 pet fee. Please let us know if you are bringing your pup. If guests arrive with a pet without making prior arrangements, the fee is 250.00. Because of allergies, we cannot host cats.

Are there extra pillows?
We provided two pillows per person. For instance, a queen bed will have four sleeping pillows. We leave plenty of extra blankets as well.

Are extra guests allowed?
If you have a few (2-3) friends pop over, this is not an issues. If you have extra guests sleeping over or more than three guests for an event, please ask and we can asses:)

Is smoking allowed outside?
Yes, you are welcome to smoke outside the space. Please pick up cigarette butts. Smoking inside the home would result in a 250.00 fee for cleaning and possible blocking nights for other guests.

Could we leave our luggage?
We are able to store luggage in the space for two hours before or after check in. Let us know so our cleaners are not surprised. Our house down the street with a safe carpart - also a safe option for leaving bags for a longer time period. Just let us know. There is also a service (usebounce) that is an option for storing bags.

Could I have an early check-in or late checkout?
Early and late check outs cause a logistic issue for our cleaners, so we have a charge. 25.00/hour (up to two hours).

What is a MUST do in Austin?
We love Barton Springs (especially in warmer months). South Congress has so much in a close proximity. Park close to Jo’s Coffee and stroll from there (shopping, cafes, music!). Vera Cruz tacos are really the best Austin has! Our Capital is gorgeous and very worth a drive by!

We LOVE De Nada (walking distance) and Flitch Coffee. Even though there is so much in waling distance, these are our two MUSTS!

Our neighbors have kiddos, so we like to be quiet after 10pm.
