Great spot for young adult travelers/trips or one night. When we arrived we tried to enter the door closest the parking garage but it requires a keycard. This is great for safety but I wish there was a more clear sign to go around to the front to enter. When we checked in we waited for several minutes for someone to come to the front desk. Once she was there she was very helpful and quick at check in! Location is convenient right off the highway. The rooms are cute but it was a little dark — they will bring a make up mirror to your room. The window of our room had smudges and finger prints that had not been cleaned. I was disappointed that there was only Amazon Prime for streaming services. None of the TV channels worked but this could have been due to the storm while we were there. AC in the room worked well.

This hotel has a very unique vibe to it. the breakfast from the lobby was great and the surf club food was good as well. The gym was better than other gym hotels I’ve been to. They had live music one night as well which they sang cover songs The cons of the hotel I would say are that the food is sorta pricey, there wasn’t a lot of option on the menu at the surf club (for me) and the cleanliness of the rooms. My first room, as soon as I entered on day 1 there was a big roach. I called the lobby and they recleaned my room and killed the roach. On day 3 at night before I went to bed and another popped out of no where and it was in my bed! I called again and they transferred me right away. After the transfer my stay was good and relaxing as that was my intent of my trip.

Loved the retro vibe at the hotel. Pool is a little small compared to the size of the hotel, but it's fine. Lastly, i literally think they forgot to put drawer space in the hotel rooms. While they offer "roll in drawers', noone at the front desk knew about these. It was s struggle to get settled and figure out where to put your clothes when you're there for 4 nights.
