This is a stunning lake house with a pool, spa, and breathtaking views. I was able to bring my Cavapoo, Remi Roo, who loved his vacation as much as we did. The home is pet-friendly. We spent a lot of our time on the lovely patio because it had two large fans, a nice breeze, and that gorgeous view. My favorite part of the day was coffee on the patio with the dog every morning, before anyone else got up. We all loved watching hummingbirds and butterflies on the beautiful flowers surrounding the spa. The pool and spa are partially shaded throughout the day by the gorgeous live oaks, so we swam every day. Both are well kept and clean. The pool wasn't too hot in the August Texas sun, thanks to the lovely waterfalls and the shade.At night, we rented movies and watched them on the huge fabulous TV in the living room with popcorn. So much family time fun!We loved this house so much that we only left the property a couple of times during our 7-night stay to eat out, because the view here was truly as good as any restaurant in the area.The kitchen has pretty much everything you would need to cook meals, which in my experience, is unusual for house vacation rentals - we've stayed in luxury homes in Cambria, CA, Trinidad, CA, and several places in Texas. None had anywhere near the amenities. Kathy also left us coffee cake and wine.The beds were comfy and the pillows were wonderful. Communication from the hostess was great, too. We were sad to leave, but will be back.
