Pest free and cleanliness were clearly not met1. Host aware house had issues with rats / rat traps throughout the entire house2. Rat feces found on one of the beds and on the kitchen counter 3. Rat feces inside the pull out beds/couches4. Garage loaded with excessive rat feces5. Additional bedroom has to be accessed through garage6. Host stated no oven inside of house - But also stated he would include a counter top Emeril Lagasse Extra Large Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo but host did not7. Instead host set up a small additional oven to be used in the garage among the rat feces8. Neither the original refrigerator or the small one in the laundry room worked properly. I had to place ice into the small refrigerator (which host note stated was the working refrigerator) to maintain an adequate temperature to avoid spoiled food 9. Air Conditioner not working properly - up to 86 degrees inside the house with AC on10. Toilets were not cleaned prior to our arrival11. I laundered towels and sheets prior to using them 12. I purchased a toaster oven myself to use inside since I refused to use the one set up in the garageI traveled from out of town and arrived on Christmas Eve, rushed to the store before they closed to purchase cleaning supplies & clean before my family arrived. We tried to salvage what we could & still spend family time together even in this bad situation. I wouldn’t trust to rent from this host again & do not recommend anyone else to either.
