My friend and I loved this place! Super cute and quaint and it was perfect for a simple trip to the island. The amenities were perfect and I loved that there was a Roku in the room so we could watch Netflix after a day of relaxing in the sun :)

Aside from the sheets, our room was not cleaned properly. The floor was crusty. There was hair in the and shower. There's no AC. The refrigerator didn't really keep things that cold. The staff were helpful, but sometimes were away. You'd have to wait for them to show up to address any concerns.

I'd chose this hotel when there is absolutely no other option available. Following are some reasons: - The building is super old. - Rooms are super tiny - There is no elevator so you have to drag your heavy luggage 4 levels up the stairs yourself. - No coffee kettle in rooms - No AC in the hotel and the fan kept switching on and off the whole night (It's an old building was the explanation given by the staff member) - There is no housekeeping available. - Hotel has absolutely no staff for anything

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We stayed in the D shack. The windows were broken and did not lock. There were spiders, centipedes, bugs, webs all over the room and bathroom. The toilet had urine stains and I had to unclog the toilet with a plunger. The light and ceiling fan would turn on and off through out the night. The bathroom was so small the sink hung over your legs when sitting on the toilet and there was no counter. There was only hot or cold water in the sink. The carpet was old and stained. The pool view did not exist. The pool was actually a spa and was boarded up with wood. The outside smelled of cat pee. The TVs did not work. When I asked for a new room they were fully booked and did not offer a refund. We wanted to leave early but the boat reservations were full. There was no where else to stay. This room was not as advertised! It was NOT a very good hotel. It was horrible. I would appreciate it if management would refund me my money. Expedia should not offer this hotel as an option through their site.

🏨 Studio 9 Hotel Review: Quirky Charm at a reasonable rate I genuinely like this hotel. It’s got charm, friendly vibes, and a great location—but it’s not for the picky guest. If you’re the type who can roll with a few quirks, you’ll likely enjoy it. 🛏️ Atmosphere & Rooms • The building is older, but it’s clean and well-kept. • Rooms are small, bathrooms are small. (No room for dancing to your favorite song.) • Electrical switches are the old push-button style—nostalgic and they still work just fine. • Staff are warm, welcoming, and super helpful throughout the stay. 🧗‍♂️ Room Locations & Stair Notes • Third-floor rooms require tackling steep stairs, but the views from up top are fantastic. • King-size beds are located on the second and third floors only; ground floor rooms are limited to Queen size beds. ⚠️ Accessibility Overview • Upper floor rooms are not wheelchair accessible, and the steep staircases may be challenging for some guests. • The hotel sits at the end of Crescent Ave, up a steep 30% grade hill from the main street—about 110 feet uphill.• After a long day sightseeing, the hike back feels intense. • If you’re older or carrying luggage, you may want to hire a ride from the ferry terminal landing area. • Older guests may want a main level room. • Competitive hotels not on a hill cost roughly $100 more per night. 🚿 Bathroom Details • Our bathroom was very small.• No sink, just a small narrow shower with a curtain, and an undersized toilet that might

The property was within walking distance of the ferry terminal. The cottage was small but perfect as a home base since we were exploring shops, restaurants and the beach.

It is a hotel that is on the lower end in terms of prices so you get what you pay. We got the cottage for three people and the bedrooms were small but a decent size for just a night. Restroom connected the rooms together but the doors didn’t have locks which was a bit weird. Restroom is small as well, we could literally sit at the toilet and wash our hands at the same time. We liked how the hotel locks the front doors after a certain time; made us feel more safe as the cottage is on the side of the hotel and outside. Besides that, it’s an outdated hotel with very nice staff! I can’t remember her name but she was an older lady with red hair and she was incredibly helpful!

Okay hotel

Its an okay hotel to stay within your budget. Unfortunately the t.v didnt work and the front desk had lied and said the next day they were going to be up and running but that was a lie. The heater in the other room from the cottage also didnt work wish i would of known i have a 1 year old and my poor son ended up getting a cold the next morning. Employees were really nice i really appreciated that though.my issue is more of them not specifying these things and being honest. My room also had a hole and the door stopper was broken off.

Spiders are crawling in the room. One spider even end up at my wife’s shoulder. No hot water during our stay. They promised to refund me. First they said are going to do it tomorrow then after more than 2 weeks later they only refunded me 20%. After I called them , they said they are going to do it in 20 minutes. They never did. Right now they don’t even answer the phone. I am contacting Expedia for this terrible experience with this junk hotel. They shouldn’t open at all until they get everything take care of. No hot water, broken windows, and big spiders come out everywhere. It is really scary if. Local officials should check it out to make sure this hotel meet the basic standards. Expedia should ban this hotel.
