All was good but the bed felt damp so this spoilt an otherwise very good venue. Obviously too late to do anything about it by the time this was discovered :(

The staff cheated me!
After checking in at the hotel I discovered two issues. The first was the hotel was located far away from any shopping or dining. I knew it was not near the city center but I didn't expect it to be so far from all shopping and dining. We didn't have a car so this was a significant issue. The second issue was that their wifi did not work on my laptop. It did work on my phone but we couldn't get it to work on the laptop no matter what we tried. Being able to use my laptop is very important to me so this was a big issue. We stayed in 19 other places on this trip and my laptop has been able to connect to the wifi every time. I told the staff that first night that because of this issues we would be checking out after 2 nights. The next day the staff told me that I had to cancel the last two days through Expedia so they wouldn't be charged the commission. I called Expedia and they said I should deal with the hotel directly because they couldn't cancel the last two days after I had arrived. When we checked out the man at the desk told me they would email me the receipt for the refund for the last 2 days. After I didn't receive it after two days I sent them an email asking about it. There reply was that they would not be issuing the credit. Will Expedia help me with this? I've been cheated out of two nights!

Dont go here
There was no one at the hotel when we arrived. We had to call the emergency number to get a code to get into the hotel. It looked like someone ran away from here a few months ago. The grass was unkept, the premises were completely empty and it was actually very uncomfortable. We did not know if there was any other guests and we were told just to go into the rooms, as some of them had keys in them and were open. The hotel was completely empty. There was no hot water and the hotel is far from anything, so you have to walk 20 mins and take a train for 5 mins to get groceries.
suitable hotel when you just want to stay when you are on the road and do not care of seeing around and the city, more like a motel, staff was nice and helpful, clean and neat place, with kitchen
Overall we were satisfied with the separate kitchen and toilet. A little more attention should have been paid to cleanliness and loose light switches and loose door handles.

Bus service good when we worked out where to catch
We booked for 2 nights as the site states it has Luxurious accommodation, Free Wi Fi, twin rooms, free parking.
We booked a twin room as we are travel companions not partners. Upon arrival we were told there were no twin rooms but could upgrade to a studio room for an extra fee. We were also offered a disabled room with single beds for an extra $10 per night - is this not discrimination towards disabled people and false advertising? They finally waived the extra fee and we were sent down the road to their other site "the one with the pool".
When we arrived we found:
* the pool was empty
* room had to be swept as there were bugs and leaves that had blown in and had obviously not been cleaned for some time
* when we went to use the bathroom we found the floor tiles weren't grey but white ones that were filthy - We would have left at this stage however our payment had already been charged on the card prior to our arrival
* free wifi didn't work and there was no phone to ring reception, when we returned to reception this was reputed and told it did work and to try again as it must have been our computers. In the 7 weeks we have been travelling this was the first time we had a problem so knew it was not our PCs
The next day when we met the manager he agreed that it didn't work in the room we were occupying. When checking in we confirmed about the wifi as it was essential for us as we need to communicate with family in Australia whilst travelling.
The manager opened a breakfast room near our room for us to use that night but we only had one hour wifi use.
*After a day spent in Avignon we returned to find the room had not been serviced, more apologies ' they forgot to tell housekeeping the room was occupied', we were handed fresh towels and told it would be done tomorrow - we were leaving the next day!
This facility has a lot of potential if it was given a extreme "spruce up", BUT most importantly it needs people who care about the customer - there was nil customer service at this hotel and as a booking agency I would be checking it out before any further referrals.

Good value for money
We got a lot of space and facilities (fridge, hob, microwave etc) for the money so were not expecting anything flashy. It was comfortable and totally unpretentious and therefore suited us very well.
In many ways it is a halfway house between a proper hotel and a gite.
The proprietor and his staff were friendly and very helpful. We had one hilarious misunderstanding because of our mangled French which lead to us talking at cross purposes for several minutes. (Their English is pretty good for most things actually.) Important things like the toilet and shower were very clean but someone had forgotten to clean out the coffee machine which is why we rate the cleanliness as only "OK".
I travelled with my students in June 2011 and we were booked at this hotel. It looks very pleasant on the pictures but it was beyond a nightmare. Of the five rooms we were given, one smelled like a dead rat inside, two of the rooms were ajar when we arrived and would not lock from the inside, spiderwebs with live spiders covered the entire length of one room, a trail of ants climbed up the walls, and onto the celing in my room. One bathroom was COVERED in black mold. The sheets were soiled and the owner offered us 1000 euros to stay because he knew that once the tour company received word, his hotel would no longer receive guests. Needless to stay, our tour company sent for taxis and found us a new place to stay. DO NOT GO HERE!!! It really did appear to be charming when it was younger. Poor ownership has turned this place into a DUMP. There is another property connected to this one and it is all the same hotel. I will repost this info in that property.

The hotel was good but due to road works a little hard to find. The room was small but functional. The staff were great and could handle our very bad french with a smile. Rooms did lack facilities such as glasses and kettle but these were provided without trouble. It was a little way out of the old city but it did provided good parking which is at a premium in the old city.

Hotel is in the middle of a redevelopment area. Grounds are overgrown and unkempt. Wakened early in the morning by construction noise. Ants in the room. Staff disappear in the evening leaving you a telephone number for emergencies. Telephoned this number in the morning when checking out because I could not find any staff (8.30am) but got answer machine. Will not be staying here again.
Although Court'Inn is conveniently placed near the old city walls of Avignon; you should ideally have a car when staying here. The location is a little odd, being in the middle of an industrial park. While the location isn't particularly scenic, it's very quiet, much more so than when staying at the hotels along Rue de la Republique. The small kitchenette is sparsely supplied and our unit did not have a cooker, so be sure to stick with microwavable meals. Although Court'Inn advertises laundry facilities, they don't supply washer dryers in the units. Instead, you bring your laundry to the front desk and, for a small fee, the staff will do your wash and return it to you in the evening. Be aware that few of the staff speak anything other than French. They are, however, pleasant, courteous and very helpful. Overall, a pleasant place to stay.
