"Sandy Corner" is a charming Cottage in one of the best locations at Avoca Beach on the Central Coast, a short drive north of Sydney. Feel the sand on your feet directly across from the cottage. Relax by the lake with a glass of wine. Take a short one minute walk to shops, cafe's, restaurants and boutique shops to pass a lazy afternoon. This romantic little cottage just oozes charm and makes for an easy car free holiday break.
About 'Sandy Corner'
The name comes from the location. The cottage sits right on the corner where the lake meets the beach and is positioned to look towards the Terrigal headland.The cottage has just finished a major renovation and now has a huge glass stack-a-door that opens the whole front of the cottage towards the beach and lake.
The Lounge / Kitchen Area:
There is an L-Shape lounge (also converts to a bed) and a large smart TV for watching movies, sport or afternoon reality TV. The TV is a smart TV so guests can sign into their Netflix or Stan accounts to stream movies or content using the high speed internet onsite. For those staying in the cooler months there is a gas log fireplace to create warmth and ambiance at the press of a button. The kitchen is basic but has all the functionality to do home cooking. There is an induction cook-top, portable bench oven, microwave, Nespresso Machine, (With unlimited pods) fridge and all cooking utensils. Louver windows allow the sea breeze and sounds of the ocean into the cottage making a tranquil and ambient setting.
The Main Bedroom:
Fitted out with a king size bed with luxurious pillow-top mattress, premium Sheridan linen and lots of pillows. The king size bed can also be separated into two king single beds if required. All linen is provided & included in your stay so just turn up! There is also a flat screen TV in the bedroom along with lamps and Bose mini-system. The bedroom has bi-fold doors that open up towards the beach and lake or can be left closed for privacy.
The Bathroom:
This has been renovated recently and consists of a shower, toilet, basin and all towels / soaps, shampoo's etc. It;s neat, tidy, clean and functional.
The Outdoor Area:
The front of the cottage has a small yard with beautifully kept gardens, lush green grass and a white picket fence. There are two kayaks on site which can be used by guests on request. BBQ and utensils are on site for those summer afternoon fun with family or friends.

'Sandy Corner' is a perfectly located, well thought through holiday cottage to relax, sample the local foods, have a swim / paddle and recharge.
