Comfortable room with hosts who care

We really enjoyed our stay with Ingrid and Helmut. They truly care about the guests who stay with them. Ingrid took extra time to find times for local tours we were interested in and looked up and printed out the details for our train out of town. As other reviewers have noted, breakfast is fantastic and the room was comfortable. We would definitely stay with them again if we were in the area.

Our train was very delayed. The host was so kind to pick us up and bring us to the wonderful hotel. Breakfasts were ample and delicious. Easy access to the rail for fun trips up and down the Rhine. A fairytale setting!

Short break in beautiful Bacharach

The stay was excellent from the moment Ingrid chose to meet us off the train at Bacharach station in her car. She then gave us a detailed and informative tour of the town and it’s environs. She was full of good ideas and tips to ensure we made the most of our time with her and her breakfasts were very good too.

We stayed in the B&B portion of the lodging. The hosts were wonderful and we felt like we were staying with family. A plentiful German breakfast is provided. The room was large with a separate sitting area and a large bathroom and shower by European standards. The location is about 1 km outside of the center of town and a car would be the best mode of transportation if staying here and to tour the surrounding towns and castles.

Fantastic!!

This inn is amazing. Ingrid picked us up promptly from the train station, even though we were late and she and her husband were incredibly kind and helpful. They gave us great tips for the area and even took us to get groceries! The apartment was immaculate, very homey and had everything you needed and more. Our windows overlooked vineyards. Huge amounts of space for a family of four. Bacharach is beautiful and a perfect launching point for a Rhine visit.

Peace and Beauty Near Bacharach

Steeg is a wonderful base for exploring the "Romantic Rhine" and this bed and breakfast/hotel was comfortable and the hosts Ingrid and Helmut were warm and welcoming, and were full of information and recommendations for good food and local sights. Breakfast was ample and delicious. We were a short walk up the grape-vine covered valley from Bacharach -- it was beautifully quiet, whereas Bacharach seemed noisy by comparison.

The self catering apartment was perfectly equipped. The owners were always up for a chat and did a brilliant job giving out visitor information. Perfect for a family weekend away.

Fantastic vacation apartment.

What a wonderful place to stay to explore the Rhine valley and river. The couple that runs this thinks of everything. And made us feel at home. Would happily come back and stay again.

PrisvÀrt B&B i vacker miljö med gÀstvÀnliga vÀrdar

LÀgenhets och Bed&Breakfast boende med ett vÀrdpar som verkligen bjuder pÄ sig sjÀlva. Vi bodde som B&B och bjöds med pÄ aktiviteter som middag, vm-fotboll pÄ storbildstv, fyrverkerier vid Rhen samt en vinprovning med vÀrdparet och deras grannar som har en vingÄrd. VÀldigt familjÀrt och vÀrdinnan pratar bra engelska. Frukosten som serverades var av den lyxigare varianten. I trÀdgÄrden kan man sen avnjuta sitt morgonkaffe med utsikt över de vackra och branta vinodlingarna. PromenadavstÄnd till centrum sÄ ock till den nÀrbelÀgna borgen. Mycket prisvÀrt boende. Vill man bo mera sjÀlv och stannar minst 3 nÀtter finns lÀgenheter.
