Charming inn in Baddeck. Beautiful slopping view down to lake across the road. Hotel and restaurant staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. King room was spacious, and being from Florida loved the in room fireplace. Tub was good size. I am a bigger guy, at #260. But fit into tub for a nice soak. Highly recommend the Alexander gram bell museum. The gondola ride was worth the hour drive. But prepare mentally for the 10 minute stretch up the mountain side literally along a cliff edge. On the return trip be sure to pull off at the observation stop at the top cliff for a panoramic view of the ocean.

Very nice hotel recently redone with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Within walking distance of town. Nice landscaping on prooerty. Dinner in on-site restaurant was excellent and very reasonably priced.

The TV didn't work and the Wi-Fi signal was too weak to be of any use. The room was clean, but there was a large stain on the sofa-bed. The toilet wouldn't flush, so I notified the front desk. When we returned there was no change. They tried again and finally fixed it, albeit at around 10PM. The friendly staff offered complimentary breakfast for our trouble, but the breakfast experience was subpar. It was very much a motel experience with hotel prices.

We were very pleasantly surprised. This Inn is very well maintained. Bed was comfortable, everything in order. 5 minute walk to downtown Baddeck. Staff were very friendly. We didn't eat in the restaurant but plenty of others appeared to be enjoying it. Lovely setting.

We had a lovely time staying at this hotel. The staff were so helpful, friendly and the grounds and buildings are immaculate. I also loved the gardens here... this place is a jewel right near the center of Baddeck. LOVED IT!!

Excellent location and amazing view from room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant looked very nice and was extremely busy so ended up going into town where there were lots of great options also. Room was well furnished and comfortable; our room had poor TV picture quality and the coffee machine leaked so could not be used. However on a trip like this neither are really needed so wasn’t really a major issue though not expected.

Beautiful property. Well kept. In the historic home of Alexander Graham Bell. Surrounded by the incredible Bras d’Or Lakes and close to the Cabot Trail and National Park. A good starting point for your Cape Breton adventure.
