I booked this property for a work trip and it was a very good choice! The sheets were very clean and the bed is super comfortable. As someone with chronic pain, having a comfortable bed is so important so I was pleased with the support and comfort. We were given a free upgrade since the room we booked was unexpectedly still under construction. I appreciated the upgrade and thoughtfulness of the staff! Due to the construction and also time of year, we didn't have a chance to enjoy the restaurant. The view is beautiful though and the grounds are quite lovely! Loved the setup of the king room with the full kitchenette including fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Didn't know there was a fireplace but would've potentially used it if there was any firewood. Would definitely stay there again! However, some of the furniture was very stained to the point we didn't want to sit on the couch or arm chair. Also there were several bugs in the heater and a Japanese beetle in the bathroom. We did our best to get them outdoors and / or squash them with our shoes, but it would have been helpful for there to be supplies like a swatter in the room or for staff to ensure there weren't any bugs to begin with.

Had to wait for someone to come and check us in as the reception doors were locked took about 15 minutes for a nice gentleman did arrive who was friendly. The room at one time was very modern and nice but it is very outdated and need of updating of the furniture inside as they were not that clean this unit that I stayed in could be very nice if they did some renovations to it and they would be able to get more money per nite lots of potential for sure

“We stayed for two nights. The hotel was clean, and overall our stay was decent. On our last morning, unfortunately, there was no hot water, so we had to take cold showers, which was disappointing. Breakfast was just okay—there were scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and soup, but no options for fried eggs or omelets. Thankfully, a Tim Hortons was only a few minutes away, which was convenient. Overall, an average stay with some room for improvement.”
