Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Room had a roach infestation and was unsafe/uninhabitable. Multiple hazards and local law violations observed and reported. Including, but not limited to, mould, electrical wiring hazards, slip-and-fall hazards, and more. I left this hotel asap and went elsewhere. Staff was unable to assist much. They transferred me to another room with an inoperable toilet. I have informed Expedia, the hotel, and its parent company. No refund provided to the original payment method as of writing this. Per Expedia it is because the hotel has not authorised them to release a refund. I will inform the credit issuing bank and local authorities in Baguio, Philippines, for further escalation of this matter. This was the first time that I've encountered conditions so unacceptable that I've left the hotel early and paid out of pocket to book elsewhere! I encouraged Expedia in my email correspondence to pull the listing for this property until they can prove that they meet international hotel standards and local legal requirements.
