The property is very interesting and unique because it is a 300-year-old house with very thick stone walls. The grounds are well-maintained and beautiful with roses and other flowers in bloom. The view of the valley with all the vineyards is spectacular! Fernanda is so warm and welcoming; she served us delicious breakfast and dinner with fresh fruit and nuts grown right on the property – oranges, kiwis, cherries, walnuts at breakfast (along with bread, jams, eggs, ham, cheese)and vegetables grown there at dinner — bell peppers, onions, beets, carrots, potatoes (along with chicken and sausage.) It was too chilly to swim in May, but we enjoyed sitting by the pool and taking in the view. It’s such a peaceful place.
