About this property

Artsy Farmstay on Bainbridge with a pool!

Perfect for family or girls weekend! Our stylish work in progress apartment sleeps 5. Studio setting bedroom downstairs boasts 1 king + 1 queen bed, bath, t.v. + game space while the upstairs offers a small sleeping nook, a large seating area opening onto an even larger outdoor patio and fire-ring space leading out to the pool. Small kitchenette provides a microwave, toaster, full fridge/freezer, water kettle and coffee station. pre-arrange a goat pen visit, relax by pool, or walk to town for dining and shopping.

3+ acre patially wooded lot located on our small hobby farm minutes from the ferry and winslow. The entire property is use at you and any of your guests own risk, one of our only requests as landlord (mainly because of the pool and lack of lifeguard) we ask that you sign a waiver/release acknowledging this.

Please note the 3 acre parcel is shared with one other rental. Common spaces include the driveway, gardens and pool. Rentals are not visible from one another.

My family and I are available if questions arise.
We are happy to greet you upon arrival and give you a small tour to familiarize yourself with the property. If this is something you would like please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. Otherwise you won't see us unless you need us, please make yourselves at home. We do want to emphasize that the space is yours to enjoy and share (in the interest of full disclosure) with an occasional owl, deer, forest mouse, mosquito, bee, spider, snail, bat or slug because one will undoubtedly make an appearance.

Please consider our Artsy Farmstay experience may not be for everyone if you are uneasy without strong wifi, room service, rustic spaces, early morning farm noises, or really nature this may not be your cup of tea. Be honest with yourself, does this listing sound intriguing or terrifying? if the latter please rethink before booking.

Please understand that the farm is undergoing constant improvements & various projects may be underway during your visit. We try to keep it tidy but realistically that just isn't always possible.

What we truly hope, what our vision from the beginning has been is that all our guests enjoy a unique, peaceful, handcrafted experience that brings each individual that much closer to our planet, respecting her maybe just a little bit more. we hope our small farm and slice of nature provides you with a moment or more of tranquility and a fulfilling escape from society. Feel free to hug the trees.

Unique Rustic Stay

My two best friends and I had a really fun weekend here, despite a few of inconveniences. There's farm animals to watch and it's close to Winslow, the main street through downtown Bainbridge. It appears that the rental space is a work in progress. There's no sink upstairs in the kitchenette. The only sink is downstairs in the daylight basement room. The basement room is big and open with a king bed (very comfortable) and a double bed (not at all comfortable - thin mattress on a piece of plywood). There is a single bed upstairs, but it's very "antique" (iron with springs and all). There is one bathroom with a barn door that doesn't really provide any privacy. The space and linens are musty, and we discovered ants everywhere - not an "invasion" but many throughout the house. The only TV, which is not at all a big deal, we just didn't know, is downstairs in the area with the double bed. It's a Roku so you can stream movies, but we packed a bunch of DVDs, just not thinking. There's a dog on on the property, to deter coyotes, but he stays in a dog run and barks pretty often. If you're an empathetic dog lover, this will hurt your heart the entire time you're here. When in communication, the owner Sarah is very nice and accommodating. However, we never received a response on our second day when the door wouldn't lock. We would stay here again, once some issues are addressed.
