There is a very good children’s playground across the road with a full-sized tennis court included.
A bike or walk track is accessible directly behind the property. This home is located in an excellent family friendly area.
There is a walk and bike cement pathway, that goes all the way into town through the nature reserve in the middle of the highway.
The Bairnsdale aquatic centre is just 1.5 km away. It is also well equipped gym with many fitness classes that can be taken if desired.
There is an APCO with 24 hour service and IGA close by and a truck stop 24 hour take away.
Travel by car is advised, although there is provision for bikes via lanes and tracks on internal streets. There is a river track throughout the town on both sides of the Mitchell River. The rail trail joins towns throughout East Gippsland.
It is advised to shop at Eastwood Village shopping centre, (4km) where parking is easy and everything is available there. Aroma has good coffee, Town & Country Pizzas are great (they deliver) and the butchers has the highest quality meat in Gippsland. Super IGA price matches the big 2 Supermarkets.
