Beautiful place and great customer service

WhyHotel is always a comfortable stay. I’ve been here about 4 times. They’re beautiful, luxury apartments that operate as a hotel. Check-in is fast and easy. The accommodations are spacious, clean and comfortable. The property itself is conveniently located in the Merriweather District of Columbia Town Center with lots to do and lots to eat nearby. I like having a full kitchen and in-unit laundry so I could save money by cooking and leave with clean clothes. I just wish their bedsheets weren’t so rough and thin. Mine had holes. Other than that, I love the place.

My family and I have stayed at this property many times in just thia past year. The quality of certain things have changed..some may be out of their control. People in the parking garahe smoking weed is one of them. The layout if this particular one bedroom was the most ridiculous concept for a layout that ive ever seen. The room was smack in the middle of the small living room and arms lenghr ro the kitchen stove.. Then they decide to out a "window " that looks out to the dinind room which makes zero sense. The kitchen suppliere were descent and clean. I always like that Wholefoods is nesrby so you can make your meals.. Washer and dryer is always a plus as well.

The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. Parking was expensive for the most convenient access, but I did not mind the short walk to my car in the morning, to wake up. The night it snowed was beautiful but noisy once they started to clear it. My neighbor directly above me was a little heavy footed, but luckily did not move around too much. Bathroom was gorgeous and loved all the space with multiple closets. Would stay again, but would have liked the ability to pay for parking prior to check in. It was a little confusing trying to find parking for check in and the check in room access itself is not convenient for out of office hours.

Very clean, nice studio with kitchenette with full size stove and oven and fridge, as well as washer and dryer.Did not have a table to eat at, though, only a small desk next to the bed. Overall a great deal. Had access to a nicer gym also with good machines, a squat rack, and cardio/tabata room. Parking garage was great but cost $35 per night extra.

Girls Night

Our stay was great. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Parking was conveniently located on the same floor so we didn’t have to travel far with our belongings. We had a three bedroom two bath unit. The reservation was for one night but you can easily stay comfortably for a long period of time. The building was very quiet during our stay and most people are just going about their day. Definitely make sure to check your email the day of for the instructions you need to check in. This will help out a lot when you arrive.

The stay was wonderful. The room was clean and tidy. It was confusing finding the hotel as it is part of the Marlow apartments and someone leaving the building helped guide me to check in as I was confused on where to go. I wasn’t aware parking was $35 prior to arrival. I wish utensils were already available in the room or atleast a note saying if you need utensils, please call guest services between certain hours as they are not always available. Overall, I would recommend!

We liked the apartment overall. It was modern with a nice kitchenette and large shower. The sofa was a little small and uncomfortable. There was random banging throughout the night from one of the apartments above us.

The hotel is nice but it has significant issues when it comes to the fact that hot water only last for 2-3 minutes on average. Also you only get housekeeping if you stay longer than 1 week and you only get 1 housekeeping at that.

A different type of hotel..not for me

It's an interesting idea to have a hotel in a luxury apartment building, but as a business traveler this wasn't the right place for me. I had a few issues with my stay: 1. I didn't get the code to get into the building. I went through the phone tree to get to the emergency number and didn't get anyone. I waited 5 minutes then I was able to reach someone but he couldn't send the code to me. He eventually had to come get me. He was super nice but it was pretty clunky esp after a red eye flight 2. The iron had plastic burnt onto it and stained the shirt I was ironing for my business meeting. Housekeeping brought me another iron which also had green plastic on it. I had to scrape the hot plastic off with a towel 3. No blackout curtains, which are hotel standard. Pool emits a lot of light 4. I could hear a lot of hall sounds 5. No network TV 6. The chair was really low for the desk which made it hard to work 7. The room had really low lighting which made it hard to work in the evening 8. Lumpy pillow 9. Guests down the hall smoking marijuana and had a pretty intense pitbull--usually this type of dog isn't allowed in a hotel I thought the room was really clean and beautifully decorated. I enjoyed the little kitchenette and the mattress was comfortable. It would be great if you were staying with a family and needed a little apartment. Overall it was not for me though.
