Fantastic and I mean FANTASTIC rooms! Upgraded, plenty of space, view of ocean and Historic downtown, which was an easy 2-minute walk. We will be back many times!!!

We loved everything about the property except for the bed. We had a queen bed and it was extremely uncomfortable. It appeared to be the spring type mattress. It would probably keep us from returning.

Does not honor special requests

I messaged the hotel weeks before to request a quiet room away from vending machines, stairs etc. We were given a room next to the stairs, across from the ice machine. While we checked in just 5 minutes after check-in started and other guests had not checked in yet, the woman at check-in could easily have swapped our room for another one, but had no interest in doing so, even when i told her I had made the request and had been told they would honor it. An insincere "sorry" just didn't show real care or effort. The rooms are clean but not very sound proof. You hear the guests above you walk around and you hear the doors of the other rooms being opened and closed. Lovely view, clean, but not impressed with the customer care.

Overall pleasant experience. Good location. Walking distance to town. Very quaint and nestled on the hill. Fixing the ice machine at lower level in order to prevent guests from having to walk up the hill for ice in the middle of the night, advisable.

I booked a room which was supposed to be on the top floor according to Orbitz description. At the front desk the employee offered me the room on the middle floor. I mentioned my reservation terms from Orbitz, but it turned out that all rooms on top floor had been already booked by other guests. Big disappointment!
