Friendly staff when we entered the hotel. There was parking out back for our truck. The hotel itself and our room were very clean and welcoming. The Inn is very close to downtown and the Banff Christmas market. Easy walking distance. The bar on site was wonderful. Friendly and attentive staff. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Room, amenities and staff were great! I wished you had mentioned that parking is very limited. I only selected this hotel due to its free parking and location, but ended up having to wake up early to move the car from the streets to a private parking lot. Also, There was a party going on at the hotel and the band was extremely lound until 12am, which affected everyone’s sleep. We were only able to sleep at 1:00 am and he’d to get up at 7:00 am to love the car. That was very inconvenient and frustrating.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, but very, very dark, even during daylight hours. There’s not enough lighting in the rooms. (We had two rooms, and this was an issue with both of them). It didn’t help that the bulb was burnt out in one of the wall sconces in our room. Also… the biggest issue… there is no soundproofing between the atrium area where they hold Christmas parties and the guest rooms above. It sounded like the dj from the Christmas party was literally inside our rooms. The location was convenient and staff were friendly, though.
