Wintry weekend getaway

We enjoyed our weekend in Banff. We were pleased that our room had been upgraded. Charltons is a very nice hotel,that just needs some updating. Room was clean and well maintained. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We had very noisy neighbors on our second night, and finally called reception at 1 a.m. The issue was resolved within 2 minutes. We have stayed at Charltons before and will stay again in the future.

The property and staff were very accommodating. The pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance, which I understand, but that was not on the website or communicated to us at booking. They did provide other options at neighboring sister hotels. They were unable to provide a key card that would work for our room so the first night and the majority of the next day we had to be let in to our room by staff of manager. They were very nice and aware of the inconvenience for both parties involved.

Nice place but when we stay there the pool is close although they give us an option to the other one that they also own and 1 of them is just beside them.. could be better if they just free the parking during lean season cause basically few cars in there..
