Another great stay with no complaints. One of the roof top hot tubs was under construction so we had a small wait to use the one after a day of skiing, however we sat and had a drink in the lounge which was great! Amazing views and great service.

Amazing value for money for Banff. Staff was very helpful. Only downside is that it can get loud outside from bars and there's no fan or something to drown out the noise. Otherwise perfect location!

Great stay. We got a free room upgrade to a better view. Only downside was the hot tub area didn’t have staff so we couldn’t purchase a drink, but it also said no personal drinks allowed. Great location, shops and restaurants in walking distance, beautiful views!

The ladies at the reception were very welcoming and accomodating. We had a nice view of the mountains. Our room was ready a few hours before the check in time. Didn't have a chance to use the hot tub because of time constraints. I enjoyed the water in the lobby and the free coffe and tea in the morning. We will try Brazen restaurant next time.

Perfect perfect perfect!!!

Went on a girls trip with my friends for my birthday and this hotel is so amazing! It’s location is perfect and the staff are so sweet, they let us check in early as our room was ready and the room was so clean and the beds were so comfortable as well! The parking was also only 10 dollars per day which was a great price considering we were in Banff. I went with two of my friends and there were only two robes in the room (standard) and we asked for another one, and the staff wasted no time to give us a third. In the time that it took us to get to the room from the lobby, someone already came to drop off the robe to our room! We also asked for a later check out time and they let us check out an hour later than we were supposed to wish was a blessing. The restaurant Brazen that was also in the hotel was absolutely amazing! The food was outstanding quality and the service as well! I cannot wait to come back again!

The hotel staff are very friendly, the hotel and rooms are clean and well maintained. It’s the perfect location if you want to be close to everything on Main Street. I hoped there would be more of a view of Main Street from the rooftop hot tubs but it was still nice to have them. We didn’t eat at the restaurant in the hotel but it looked nice! There wasn’t a lot of noise from outside although we were there during the week. The rooms definitely let in sound from the hallway and we were unfortunately beside a maintenance room and in the morning we heard the door open and slam shut constantly from staff. But even with that, I will definitely stay here again! I will request a room not so close to staff areas and elevators however.

We stayed at this property and really loved the location. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The rooms felt oversized as well. The location is fantastic as this location is downtown Banff. Just walk out your hotel and there is shopping at dining right within a block. I would stay here again the next time I visited Banff. The only unfortunate part is that one of the two hot tubs was out of service.

Only reason I put 2 stars is the miscommunication or I don't know whose fault whether it's Expedia or Mount Royal Hotel about my charges. I have to pay full amount at check out wherein I paid a deposit when I did my booking. Then I realized looking at my credit card statement that they (hotel) charged me when I check-in already then charged me again at check out. I don't get it! so I'm in the process of it but I should not be having this issue on my holidays.

Overall the stay was okay. The parking is very limited and you do have to pay for it if you can find a spot. The staff was very welcoming. They do require a $200 deposit at time of check in. The lobby looks very nice and has a ski town feel to it. The elevator is unbearable slow though. We got to our room and it was as pictured. The beds were soooo comfortable. It was hard not to leave them. There were tons of carpet stains, not sure from what. I booked this place because of the hot tubs, except one was down and the other one was filthy. I was really disappointed as this was why I chose this hotel. The location was perfect, everything was within walking distance, the other hotels weren’t as close to shopping and food. I did like my stay but probably wouldn’t choose it again
