Basic 3 star hotel with friendly staff and a clean simple room. If you’re wanting a luxury Bangkok experience, this is not it. If you want to spend your money on activities rather than accommodation, then this is fine. We chose this because it was walkable to two areas we wanted to go.

Room was very nice, soft bed, spacious and good sized bathroom. Hotel staff was excellent. Location, location, location. Very close to many great dining places and pubs, Jurassic park, ICONSIAM mall and various temples. Pool on the 4th floor, decent breakfast available.

Bossotel is a small, friendly hotel very close to the river, BTS and Robinson/Tops. Tops is an international style supermarket, a bit expensive for Thailand but got most things a traveler might want. I find the area interesting but is bustling, noisy and traffic-congested. But then that is Bangkok in a nutshell. Breakfast is cheap but actually not very tasty; the pool is very small as is the so-called gym. The walk out from the hotel is slightly marred by a couple of massage parlors but otherwise the road is not too noisy. Opposite is a temple and school which reminds you that life is going on all around. Maybe a better place for adults than young families. I have stayed many times when traveling without my family and will continue to do so. Certainly prefer the area to Sukhumvit.

Stayed there many times UpTo about about 10 years ago, The hotel is tired, but acceptable. Receptionist 'Nana' is excellent. Breakfast is basic & limited. No parking there or in surrounding areas. Air conditioning noisy intermittently and not fixed, fridge was not working, but they fixed it, safe deposit not working and it was fixed,. All things that should have been checked before occupancy. Hotel ok for basic stopover. Basically we stayed there because the other hotels we normally use were full with Chinese tour groups. The cost is not really competitive. Not too far from Tops supermarket, Robinsons mall and flea market. Skytrain and boat pier about half a mile walk, to facilitate going everywhere.
