Great staff. Prefect view of the water. Older hotel but very well maintained. Simple but clean rooms the prefect place if you want to stay at a classic New England style Inn. The quietest most peaceful place I have ever stayed. Did I mention the view? Hotel is set back away from the main road in a wooded area but beautifully landscaped but still convenient to BarHarbor and entrance to Acadia National park?

Spacious, comfortable room with mini fridge and balcony! However TINY bathroom with no space to even put your toiletries and only a tub/shower. Convenient location to Bar Harbor and Acadia as well as a few other restaurants. Wonderful blueberry muffins as well as yogurt, fruit, cereal, coffee etc for breakfast. Newly renovated, just should have rethought the bathroom.

Clean room and great views. It is a short drive to downtown but I like that the property is in a private quiet location. The only bad about this property is while showering, you will need windows open and the fan on (the one in front of the window by the bed, there is not a fan in bathroom). If not, the room will be humid, hot, and the bathroom will be wet, which makes the room very uncomfortable

The location is great with beautiful views of Frenchman's Bay. Being away from the highway is a plus for a quiet night sleep. The staff at Acadia Oceanview were so friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was great, especially the blueberry muffins! Highly recommend Bar Harbor Lobster Pound just down the street and Mainely Meat, amazing! The only negatives would be the creeky doors and dirty carpet/floors. Our socks turned black as soon as we took our shoes off.

This place was just ok. Stayed 2 nights. Good that it’s out of the fray of downtown Bar Harbor. Room was small and cramped. Nowhere to set suitcases. Breakfast was a joke. Very limited offerings. Looked like they expected you to wash your own dishes when done.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. View was excellent when asked for ocean view. Close enough to Bar Harbor to get there easily. Beds could use a firmer mattress but they still were good.

Sunrise views and a pristine pool just a few miles from Acadia are the highlights but the stay was not perfect. Staff was not responsive and there was an apple rotting under the bed but the view in the morning was amazing. Why no microwave or coffee maker in the room? Trips to the lobby are no way to start the day!
