This is a very nice apartment and the only reason I gave it 4 stars is the 2nd bathroom is very small. We had a family of 6 sharing the apartment and our daughter, son in law, and 5 year old used the larger bathroom while my spouse, son, and myself shared the small bathroom which is very small. It is in a neighborhood that has a number of cafe' across the street from the unit and one of the nights we were here there was a group of young men being extremely loud until 5;30 in the morning. 2 out of 6 of us were awakened by the noise, the double glazing keeps most of it out but if you have the windows open you are going to hear it. Wonderful host and great check in. The beds and all other accommodations are great.

The apartment location was fantastic and it was an excellent, comfortable home base for us--parents, child, and grandparent--for a leisurely stay in Barcelona. Communication with David was top notch and he was especially helpful and accommodating when extreme weather threw off our plans.

Beautiful flat in a great location. Clean and well appointed - had everything we need. David was attentive and easy to communicate with. Tons of restaurants, shops, etc, near by. Easy walk to Sagrada Familia and down into the older part of the city, or there is a taxi stop right across the street. Park Güell was walkable but all up hill!

This rental was absolutely perfect. David was so responsive to all questions we had and also helped us get back into the apartment after we had checked out for items we had left behind. He went above and beyond!!! The unit is also very spacious and super clean. I highly recommend this for anyone traveling to Barcelona.

Beautiful Apartment

Apartment was beautiful, very spacious! Apartment had everything we needed, owner thought through every little detail. Location is perfect, walk distance to a lot of attractions and restaurants. The only thing, keep in mind if traveling with kids, it does get really loud from people parting on the streets at night, so kids who can't use ear plugs and are not deep sleepers, it could get a little frustrating. Otherwise everything else is perfect! Definitely would recommend this apartment to others!

An excellent apartment in Barcelona!!

This apartment is excellent in all measures - spacious, well located district for walking in the city, clean, very thorough amenities, more like a home with nice art and furnishings. It’s one of those rare places that is better than the photos. David, the host, was prompt, detailed, and very helpful in communications. The only caution is that there is street noise from the intersection and weekend night crowds, but it didn’t really bother us. We spent a time observing from the balconies. A great stay.

A Beautiful and Spacious Apartment in a Great Location!

We loved our stay at this beautiful and very clean apartment that is very nicely decorated and feels very welcoming. There was a nice basket of treats awaiting us when we arrived, and the apartment has a great kitchen with all of the amenities needed. There were five adults in our group, and we all had ample space. The beds are also very comfortable. The host, David, was easy to communicate with and very responsive, and he also helped us with a few travel logistics, which was very appreciated. It can be a bit noisy at night as the apartment is near bars and restaurants that are open late, but despite that I would still highly recommend this apartment!

A Wonderful Place

What a great place! Public bus transportation to/ from Sants Station and the beach is 1/2 block away. Diagonal metro station is a 15 minute walk. A fantastic restaurant, Greens Aribau, is directly across the street. It is so good, we had dinner there three nights. Try the fish! This is a very nice residential apartment with lots of shops close by. A drink in the deck watching the activity in the neighborhood was very enjoyable after a full day of touring the city.

Best Stay in Barcelona

Overall a terrific stay in Barcelona. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable for a family of six. David was an excellent host and made the check in process very simple, also excellent at communicating with us. The location of this apartment is superb, close to major attractions and in a safe area of the city. There is a supermarket very close to the apartment, which makes getting groceries very easy. Also, the kitchen in the apartment is very nice and has all of the needed amenities. All of the bedrooms are great, as are the bathrooms. The air conditioning also worked good.

Great location

Following a Mediterranean cruise we stayed in Barcelona 3 days. David sent directions for accessing the property which is located near many restaurants and grocery store. Taxis were readily available. Lluis the doorman was a cheerful welcoming Spirit. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with outside balconies. David provided generous provisions which met our needs.

Beautiful Apartment in the heart of Barcelona

This spacious, well-appointed apartment was perfect for our family of 4. It is right on a bustling intersection with shops and restaurants so made eating easy after full days of walking around Barcelona. It is one block off the main straight that bisects Barcelona so we were able to walk everywhere and really take in the city. The apartment was huge and a nice mix of older style with high ceilings and beautiful moldings and updated kitchen and baths. It has AC which was nice for us in the Spain heat. David is a great host who had great suggestions and was very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and very clean!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at David’s apartment. He was very responsive to requests and he even sent us directions to restaurants, markets and a pharmacy. We had one issue with the hot water, but he walked us through how to reset it. It’s an older building and the air conditioner was hard at work since it was very hot there. Air was only in the living room and hall. The neighborhood bars were a little noisy, but nothing earplugs couldn’t fix. Beds are listed as kings, but they would be considered short queen size in the US. The beer in the fridge was much appreciated!

Family Vacation in Barcelona

David's apartment was perfect for our family of five. It is in a convenient location for walking, hailing taxis, and catching the bus. The apartment is spacious, with an ample kitchen and living room. There is a nice table for family meals, a large TV and comfortable sofa. It was especially nice to have two full bathrooms for our family of five, with three adult children. David was very easy to communicate with and sent us many messages to help us with our arrival and check in. Our stay in Barcelona was wonderful. We enjoyed shopping in the neighborhood, sightseeing, eating in the local restaurants and just sitting on the balcony watching the world go by. We highly recommend this apartment. It will make your stay in Barcelona easy and comfortable.

Blast in Barcelona

Pleased with the flat for amenities, space and the biggest kitchen we have ever had after several rentals in Sapin & Italy. Easy access, liked the balconies and glad to have air con! Host kept a well equipped unit and responded quickly to a couple of questions we had. Very nice welcome drinks and snacks were appreciated. We were victims Of cancelled inbound flight and he worked with us to make our late evenimg arrival a success.
