You can't beat the location and value of the Hotel Barcelona Catedral. The rooms were spacious and clean. I would definitely stay there again.

This was without question one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in in Europe. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast very very fine. We had a light dinner and lunch there as well. I would stay there again!!!!

Fantastic hotel and location

Very friendly staff. Lovely clean room. Breakfast and nice with a great range to choose from. We were on the first floor and on the first night our window wasn’t closed correctly so it was a little noisy but when the window was closed correctly the sound was much better.

Right from the moment we arrived the staff and service was exceptional. Helpful courteous staff at front desk. Rooms modern, clean, and clean. Restaurant staff pleasant and again courteous Location is prefect for all tourist locations. We walked to most of them. Would definitely recommend this hotel. After locating some of the hotels we had considered we were so happy we went with this one. Would highly recommend to others. Thank you for a great 3 day stay.

Beautiful hotel, all newly renovated! Fabulous location, right in the centre but no street noise in bedrooms. Roof top pool is lovely looking but freezing - I'm sure it will be nice in summer!

A fantastic stay!

We were the first guests to stay in our room in this recently renovated hotel, so everything was new and spotless. The entire hotel was immaculate. The staff was charming and helpful. The location was fantastic, centrally located in the Gothic District, with lots to see, do, and eat within walking distance.

Nice hotel, great location.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, just off the cathedral square and on edge of the gothic quarter. We were warmly welcomed and provided with a map of the area by reception staff. It took 20 minutes to walk to the Sagrada and about 15 minutes to the seafront. The rooms have just been refurbished and are stylish, clean and comfortable - one of the best showers I've had in a hotel room! There is a mini-fridge, tea and coffee facilities (essential to us Brits) and bottled water was provided free of charge. Each night the bar provided a free glass of wine and cheese tasting which was welcome after a day of sightseeing. We didn't dine at the hotel as there are so many restaurants nearby but the menu looked varied and wasn't too expensive. The hotel is about a 7 minute walk to Placa de Catalunya making it handy for the airport shuttle bus. Although it's right next to the cathedral, it wasn't too noisy at night and the curtains kept out the light. Overall a great experience and I would definitely stay there again.

Most of the staff were lovely. Hotel was nicely quiet and we slept well. Very clean and well maintained. Spacious for a European hotel. We would absolutely stay here again if we visit Barcelona again in the future.

We stayed at the newly renovated room which looked great, however we had a few issues during our stay: the shower head was not working, we could not get an ice bucket from the bar- apparently they dont have, and the heating was not working properly and it was cold in the room. On the morning, from the heating system, instead of warm air, it was smell of weed comming out, which was not nice at all and we had to switch the heating off completely and open the windows to get rid of the smell. The service that we received from the Manager at the reception is not acceptable, she was rude and did not know how to provide a simple customer experience. Prior to dealing with her at the reception, we were served by a very polite and knowledgeable male, who was great (apologies we didnt get his name).
