Great location

Unfortunately, there is a lot of construction and it wasn’t easy to get to the front desk. However, they carried our luggage to the taxi when we departed. It’s a typical European hotel the small showers, but it was quaint and in a great location.

We couldn't have picked a better central location for our stay in Barcelona. We walked everywhere and only used a taxi once from Park Guell l because we had a reservation we had to get back for. Incredible staff!

Modern and clean. Staff was very helpful and gave excellent suggestions for eating and dinning. Only issue we had was TV remote did not work but channel changes did work on the unit. Besides, who needs to wach TV while enjoying everything that beautiful Barcelona has to offer?

Fantastic Gem of a hotel

The room was very nice and large with 3 patio windows. It is the perfect location!!! The staff is very helpful. The metro stop is right in front of the hotel. I would definitely stay there again if back in Barcelona.

Staff were amazing and friendly but there was absolutely no warning of the amount of noise and renovation or god knows what at 7-7:30am every morning throughout the whole day, the rooms were some what clean and okay for trip for a few days, the excessive noise at the hotel disrupted our stay and was quite annoying.

First impression of the gothic area Barcelona

Stay was great, right in the center of the tourist zone, a bit noisy with the widow open but well built to dampen the street sounds, has a metro right outside the door. Easy walk to many sights on las Rambles. Had to upgrade to a room with an opening window and balcony, found the skylight rooms too closed in for me but I require fresh air. Easy walk with a small suitcase from the blue Airport bus that is about 8 euro.

Excellent Hotel and great location

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in May and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The location is perfect, just away from the touristy bit but right in the middle of the old town, near the cathedral and 10metres from Jaume metro station. There are lots of nice shops and restaurants nearby and only a short walk to La Rambla and the beach. The reception staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel very clean and tidy and our room was ideal for our stay. We had the €14 breakfast a couple of times and it was really nice and good value. We highly recommend this hotel, the only negatives were there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and no bar that we saw. There was some heavy construction work outside the entrance during our visit but when completed there will be a really pedestrian square outside.

Nice economy hotel. Clean small room. No chair in room or on balcony. In the middle of construction area limits ease of car and foot traffic.. Kind friendly helpful staff. Included breakfast buffet was delicious. No bar or restaurant in the hotel but plenty nearby. We would stay again if not planning to spend a lot of thie in the room. In my opinion it is good for couples. Maybe not so good for families.
