The room was great, but the initial code to get in the building was wrong! A resident of the apartment side gave us the right code so that we could get our check in paperwork! Everyone around is super nice!

The check in at the desk was different. But ended up being okay. The hotel room was for the most part clean. When we first arrived we found the kitchen did not seem to have been swept. Also there were no trash bags for the trash can. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay!

This building is a treasure! I love the effort to maintain the period feel. The beds were incredibly comfortable. We loved the speak easy game room and the rooftop deck was a nice place to relax in the breeze. Would absolutely stay here again.

The bedframes in our room were not sturdy. So sharing a bed made it difficult to stay asleep due to movement would wiggle the whole bed. I would recommend better bedframes. They do not have the ability to control the temperature in your room. And no window unit. So it was too hot for me even with 2 fans i brought with me. I stayed here a year ago and the temperature was an issue then as well. Check in is the easiest process ever. The after hours code to get into the building sent to me via email was incorrect but once I got in and got my envelope with my room information the correct code was listed on there. The hotel is cool vintage hotel/apartments so people do live there. The rooftop view to hang out is really cool. The view is AMAZING. The workers there are all very nice and will go above and beyond. The rooms are very nice. I do recommend the hotel and would return. Only wish that I could control my own room temperature. Recommend window units or ones similar to other hotels.

This room was a small space, it was tight for me. The bathroom toilet was too close to the wall. The shower was updated. There was a random large about 5 feet unattached and with no base floor mirror sitting on the floor which I moved to the side. The kitchen faucet in the room extended too far over the sink. The grounds were well maintained. The parking lot was a bit tight although adequate but in need of resurfacing. I did get a cup of coffee and saw apples and oranges. I saw only two staff during my stay. This facility is well run with many things self-service. The TV remove did not work but I was able to manually turn the TV on and change the channels and adjust the volume with my hand. The facility seemed very secure. I rate my stay a 4 out of 5. Thank you

Room has no central hvac. All a/c and heat is all from the buildings system. There’s no way to control how cold or warm the room gets. Brush fire smoke smell was coming into the room from the outside air. Floors were sticky and bathroom floor was dirty. I left before staying the night. Only positive is that I was refunded quickly for the inconvenience. Would not recommend.

A/C in room was broken during our stay, check in/out process went smoothly except you need a code at the front door past 6:30pm. My door code was in my check in envelope on the front desk so I’m think figure out a way to upload that to Expedia or send an automated message?

I had expected the living room to have a pull out couch bc it was listed in the description but was disappointed to find the only bed being the one in the bedroom. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable.

What was different about this hotel vs others is the full complement of amenities. It came with a kitchenette with a mini fridge, a microwave oben, a glass-top cook top, and actual dishes and pots and pans. .
