Lovely place to explore Bath from

Lovely little B&B, good location - nice short walk to the centre. Parking space is a nice bonus. Included breakfast was lush, staff were all really friendly and the room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The property was very well presented, very clean and comfortable. The staff were great and the breakfast was great. It was located in a very convenient area . Only a 1 night stay but was very impressed.

The property is set in a very nice quiet location. Parking on the premises is easy. Upon arrival all staff were very welcoming, very pleasant and enthusiastic about what they do. The hallway entrance was beautiful and the decor was very warm and homely. Our room was beautiful and had certainly been professionally designed and furnished, not shoddy or cheaply done. The whole of the premises reflected this also. When we went for breakfast the dining room was immaculate and wonderfully presented, again very homely. The quality of the food served for breakfast was superb, and cooked perfectly. The walk to Bath city centre was simple to navigate and took ten minutes. As B&B's go we would struggle to find a nicer accommodation for sure. We're looking forward to returning in the near future.

Great overnight stay

Lovely B&B. Comfortable, warm room in nicely decorated house. Breakfast was very good. A great choice and nice portion size. Would stay there again.

Would have been 5 stars, but the shower water actually completely turned off whilst I was in the middle of a shower! Not great!!! Also teabags were not replenished after the first night On the positive side, room was very nice, great views over Bath, and the bed was very comfortable. Parking was good for us.

We stayed at the hotel for the weekend, and overall, our experience was just okay. Unfortunately, we did not have a good night’s sleep as the room was very hot, with the heating on for a long time. We had to leave the window open all night to feel comfortable. The breakfast was quite minimalistic, and there were very few options available for a vegetarian cooked breakfast. We would strongly recommend adding more variety to cater to vegetarian guests. The service was ok, it made the customer service feel inconsistent in some areas. Overall, our stay was not unpleasant, but it did not meet our expectations, and we feel there is room for improvement.

Nothing good to say. I had confirmed stay thru previous emails. Then yesterday got an email wanting to know our exact time of arrival and departure. We're riding a ferry and driving approximately 5hrs. Who knows exacts? Then arrived to find the bed in our room was 1 dbl bed and I had booked a king. Owner said he was filled up and gave us the 1bed room Expedia booked for us. Room was very crowded and I had to sleep on the floor because bed too small for 2 people traveling long distance and expecting a good nite's sleep. Very uncomfotable night of pressure points causing lots of tossing and turning and leg cramping. Miserable nite's stay. Beware to others when booking this property.
