The rooms look nothing like the pictures. It's disgusting. Torn curtains, stains everywhere, smelled of mold. Had to request refund and get new room.

The owner at the window was rude and unhelpful the parking lot completely empty pretty obvious why considering the dangerous area and negative vibes. When booking online was told one price is what I paid just to spend the last little bit of money I had to have a roof over our heads for the night till I could figure something out the next day. The listing should've have been upfront stating the price you pay not including required deposit, it was clear by the lip service I got even if I did have the fifty dollar cash deposit I would never see that money again just like I'm pretty sure I'll never see this money again . Great I paid for a room I can't check into because the listing is intentionally unclear and the portion about a required deposit was no made clear with the price of the room as it should be as it would've been had I just showed up in person. Real easy to pull the wool over someones eyes online, not so easy in person. I will absolutely never make this mistake again. My advice stay away from websites and apps like Expedia and independently owned places like this, you're better off spending the few extra dollars instead of trying to save a dollar online it's safer that way.

Good location, but there were homeless people sleeping outside. Never really felt unsafe but the property is definitely run down. Had a couple holes in the wall of our room and the toilet and shower looked pretty dirty. Sheets were clean.

The family that owns The Heritage Inn are very nice sweet people! The property was very clean, the rooms immaculate!! A hidden, inexpensive, Gem of Baton Rouge!! We will return again!!

Worst stay ever

The manager is never around, rooms were dirty and falling apart, none of the ice machines worked, fridge didn’t work so we throw our food away.
