We checked in friday may 30th, pur first room the carpet was wettt and mildew by the ac, then we turn the tv on the tv was broke the tub had nasty stains on it, they put us in a different room the next day we get in that room we see a roach and the bathroom just looked dirty i will never be renting a room there again !! The water did not get hot either ! Then we asked about the pool they said the pool was temporary closed so we basically gave money away !!

As soon as our family from Baton Rouge entered our room, we immediately checked out and moved to a better hotel across Siegan Lane to Courtyard By Marriott where it was definitely much better and much safer! You had crackheads walking around our floor, smelly rooms, broken chairs, not good wifi!

DO NOT STAY HERE

Worst place EVER. DO NOT ASSUME THE PICTURES ARE TRUE. We changed rooms three...THREE .. times in less than 10 minutes. Smoke filled, cigarette burns, missing linens, no coffee maker, chairs broken, missing lamp shades, broken drawers, NO SMOKE DETECTORS.. The ENTIRE third floor smelled like cigarette smoke inspite of the 100% Non Smoking Facility promise. I am pretty sure there are drugs being dealt upstairs and the transactions are intentionally overlooked. Every desk attendant claimed to be new and had no knowledge of how to manage the business. Every one claimed the hotel was recently purchased and they had started to remodel and had no knowledge of the faults. How do you not know how smoky a place is, or that the smoke detectors are missing...or that the elevstor hasnt been cleaned in months? The final straw was the 5 cockroaches that came out of the microwave when the door was opened. This place does not deserve the LaQuinta nor Wyndham names.

Disappointed in Baton Rouge

The hotel is being renovated and paint thinners was left in the hallway leading to our rooms. When the staff was told how dangerous this practice was, they only said that work was being done in the hotel and covered those items with a piece of canvas. Paint droppings were left on the floor. Drywall shavings were left behind the toilet. The drywall near the a/c unit became dislodged exposing the wall behind. My daughter's room was not swept, when the front office was told, they said no one was available to clean it. My daughter asked for a broom and I swept the room. One of the doors to the rooms did not close securely to the door jamb. This hotel is ideally located close to I10 west and east and easy access to food and gas. Closing part of the hotel to complete renovations may result in a better review. Pictures are included.

Dirty room smelled of smoke, smoke detector ripped out, stained, dirty rug and chairs. Tub was waiting to be resurfaced, missing light bulbs in lamps. Chemical smell on floor due to renovations. Bad breakfast with limited choices. Finally, man passed out in stairwell. Do not stay here. Shouldn't have La Quinta Wyndham name on it.

Elevator looked dated, button numbers were not visible (fire hazard), hallways were dirty, there was a microwave sitting outside in the hallway the whole time we were there. Their rooms smell like mothballs, the stairways smelled like cigarettes. Bathrooms and shower appliances were outdated, AC was loud and did not work in one of the rooms we booked. Some of the lamps did not work in the rooms. I booked three rooms for one night. Breakfast had water down coffee and stale muffins. Never staying there again.

The pictures on Expedia were not at all the same facility we pulled up to. Despite the outside look we still proceeded with check-in & we’re hopeful the rooms would be better. Wrong! Absolutely disgusting & filthy as well as not safe. Once in room the conditions were significantly worse.

It’s very strange to me to receive this message and time allowed to review my stay especially after being told I didn’t have a reservation. When I arrived to the hotel the young lady at the front desk told me she didn’t see a reservation for me. I assured her I did by showing her all reservation emails she searched again and claimed to have not seen any reservation for me. She even confirmed I was at the correct location but still couldn’t accommodate me therefore I have nothing nice to say about this hotel and wish to never be recommended to stay here anymore.
