The room was good for what I paid with the only minor problem being a leak in the sink that needed a bucket. The staff were great. The receptionist helped me with a phone problem I had and the breakfast was great. Cereal, fruit, yogurt, some of the most freshly and tasty baked bread I've ever had, with soft cheese, tea or coffee. Really a well priced stay.

Family room was a great low cost choice in Bayeux but the room is very cramped. We wouldnt have wanted to spend another night there but the location is excellent with an easy walk into the centre and museums. It is very conveniently located outside the centre so finding it is easy.

Stay was ok. Bed very small and hard. We were given a disabled room which we did not need and the bathroom door was very hard to close. We were woken at 6.50am by a woman banging on the door, she was not staying at the hotel and should not have got into the building. Need to look at security for travellers. Would not stay again or recommend.

Within walking distance to the centre of Bayeux. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very small rooms and a teeny tiny shower room / toilet. We were in a room with 1 double bed, 1 bunk bed and 1single bed, which suited our needs very well. Cheap and cheerful property but needs some renewals (e.g. hallway carpets are stained).

Fine for a cheap 2 star hotel.

My husband and I stayed for a couple of nights with our son to visit the D Day beaches. The hotel is basic and cheap, but was clean with comfortable beds. Perfect for somewhere to put your head down. The hotel was also very close to the centre of town and you could walk to the cathedral in less than 10 minutes. Car parking at the hotel was free. The only negatives we had were that the breakfast was rubbish. No fresh fruit, just two types of cereal, bread, cake and yoghurt. I have a gluten free diet, so had only yoghurt, as I couldn’t eat anything else. Not worth the cost. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. We also found the reception staff to be quite rude and unfriendly, with the exception of a lovely Easter European lady, who was kind and helpful.

The location of the hotel was great, and the parking was very convenient. However the bathroom was really tiny, without even a toilet roll holder. The toilet roll had to sit next to the sink so got very wet. The maintenance was also very poor. The air con didn’t work and the metal threshold in the door to the bathroom was completely loose and kept slipping off. As this was on a step down into the bedroom, this was dangerous.

Cute hotel in a cute town

Bayeux is a cute little town. This hotel is a little out of the way, but just a short walk into town or to the train station (less than 15 minutes). The rooms are small, but that's typical for Europe.
