We had an awesome stay at the Peaceful Country Cottage in Red River Gorge and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house itself was exactly what we were hoping for clean, well-kept, and super comfortable. Everything was organized and ready for us, which made settling in really easy.One of the biggest highlights was how family-friendly it was. There were plenty of things to keep the kids entertained, which made the whole trip more relaxing for us as parents. It’s not always easy to find a place that works well for both adults and kids, but this one nailed it.The accommodations overall were great, a welcoming atmosphere, and all the essentials you’d need for a getaway in Red River Gorge.What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. We accidentally left behind our Fire Stick, and the owners went out of their way to send it back to us. That kind of honesty and extra effort says a lot, and it definitely didn’t go unnoticed.All around, this was a fantastic stay. We’d absolutely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and family-friendly place in Red River Gorge.

Talk about getting away from it all and enjoying beautiful scenery along with perfect privacy and sweet seclusion this place is a gem! Fun stay and relaxing at the same time. Comfortable beds a long with all the amenities you will need! The hot tub is perfect and easily accommodates 4-adults. The walk out basement finished game room is a nice touch. On top of all of it the host was extremely friendly and accommodating, although we had no problems he told us to let him know if there were any. Awesome Stay!!!

Perfect place for my family and parents. Everything was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed playing ping pong and pool and not being too far away from hiking. It was nice to have the TV downstairs so the sports watchers didn't disturb the others.

Everything was amazing, they have everything you can even think of to make for a fantastic getaway. From the hot tub, pool table and games. I forgot to bring a lighter to start our fire but they had one!!! I will definitely stay here agin if I visit in the future.

It was a great experience. My family loved the peace and quiet. The porch swings were a huge hit with my 10-year-old and 3-year-old. My oldest son and his Dad couldn't get enough of the pool table and table tennis. I myself, enjoyed the solid and back porch where I was able to get some writing done. Overall a great experience. My children asked if we could make it our yearly getaway before they return to school. Dad also enjoyed the hot tub.

Great place to stay. Very clean and plenty of room. Nice game room in case it’s too hot to hike or raining. Close to all the hiking spots. Unfortunately didn’t get to use the hot tub because it was to hot/humid to enjoy.

Family get away

This was the 2nd time i stayed here with my family. They still loved it! just like the fist time we stayed here. The couches in the game room are brand new and comfortable. Next time we are going to come to red river gorge hope thid house is avaliable.

Beautiful place to get away.

This home is located at the end of the road, somewhat secluded , with beautiful views all around. I loved just sitting on the front porch watching the sun go down.My kids had so much fun in the game room and the hot tub was amazing! Plus Red River Gorge Hiking and activities are just a short drive away! Would totally stay here again!

Fall break get away

There were 4 siblings with significant other and a niece/ nephew college student that stayed at the house. We had such a wonderful time. The house was perfect!! We enjoyed making dinner and sitting at the table eating with each other. The hot tub was most enjoyable after spending the day hiking the trails. At night we star gazed then had a ping pong and dart challenge. Wish we could have stayed longer Would highly recommend staying here!!! Elizabeth was wonderful to work with and responded promptly to all my questions

Best rental we have ever had!

This was by far the best vrbo rental we have ever had! Absolutely imaculate clean, easy checkin and out, perfect location, best hosts ever! We were going to stop using VRBO due to previous stays but this rental was perfect. Well stocked and supplies. Plenty of towels, wash cloths, spices and coffee, utensils and bowls/plates/pans etc. The hosts will reply to you FAST with any questions! Can't say enough good about this rental.

Absolutely Perfect!

This cottage and and the beautiful property it is on could not have been any more perfect. Our children (ages 8-12) had the best time! We came down for a short stay over Memorial Day weekend and just did not have enough time! The game room is awesome. The hot tub was perfect temp upon arrival. We could not have imagined the peace we would feel there. Absolutely Perfect!

Great relaxing place to stay with enough to do for our active teenagers. Very clean! Kids loved the pool table, arcade and hot tub. I loved the front porch swings. Beautiful, peaceful place to come back to after hiking and kayaking the Gorge. Definitely recommend!

Amazing Place

The location of the property is secluded at a dead end road. Which we loved. The views were amazing. The property owners were kind was immediately there if we needed anything. The house was beautiful. The game room we spent a lot of time in and had a blast. The hot tub was awesome. Fully loaded with pots and pans everything you needed right there. The beds were comfortable. Our family had an amazing time thank you will definitely be back
