Only issue was that we found bedbugs in room but staff went above and beyond to remedy the situation in a timely manner. Things like this cany be avoided.

The room was warm and smelled horrible as soon as we walked in. It is different from the pictures on the website. The beds are the same but it didnt have a separate bathroom. There was a half wall next to the one bed then the sink. Then a wall with a pocket door that didnt work that great and didnt lock at all. The shower looked fine at first glance but the mold all around the shower door and underneath it was nasty. It looks like the carpets have ever been really cleaned. Also dont know if its related but my son got hand foot mouth while we were there. I noticed it on friday while we were on our way home. I would not recommend this hotel. They need to do a deep clean on the whole hotel. The night desk clerk was amazing. She was so sweet and helpful. But it seems all there rooms smelled like mold/mildew. Plus when my father checked into his room there was a spider on the window and there was mold all over the top of his windowsill.

Poor business & mold smell

My stay was terrible. I booked this hotel to be able to attend my son's USMC bootcamp graduation. Arrived about 4:30pm and the room smelled of mold and mildew. We all couldn't even be in the room without feeling like we couldnt breath. I immediately booked another hotel down the road, thank goodness they were not completely booked! I didnt even want to chance taking time to switch rooms just for the same thing to happen. I contacted customer service through hotels.com and they said Sleep Inn would not issue a refund because I did not tell the hotel staff about the smell -- which I did. When I taoked to the hotel staff, they said I needed to contact the 3rd party I booked from to get refund. Both companies (hotel and hotels.com) are blaming eachother for not issuing a refund. This is poor business and I have never had any issues with any hotels I've previously booked. I have never asked for refunds, canceled, or anything of the sort.
