The grounds were great! We arrived to the property and the front entrance was covered with webs/bugs. Not a good first impression. The interior of the home was spacious but could have been cleaner. Dusty light fixtures and kitchen sink was not scrubbed clean. Trash was still in kitchen trash can. Food was still in refrigerator and freezer was not clean. Back patio had not been blown off and, again, webs were covering all of the windows/exterior. House overall could have been cleaned better. There is only one tv in the entire house. Downstairs game room would benefit with one as well as master bedroom (at least). The upstairs master had a distinct odor of sewage. When windows were opened, it helped dissipate but the inside of the window frames were covered with bugs/dirt. We spent a couple of hours cleaning inside and out. The property itself was great. Very spacious and beautiful. Fire pit was awesome but Chairs around campfire (3) need to be addressed: one was good, one was constructed incorrectly and one was broken. There should be more chairs since the house capacity is 10 people. This property has so much potential. It just needs some TLC. We rented to see if it would work next summer for our family of 10 (there was only 4 of us this time) but as of now with the condition of the home at the price it’s listed, we will pass on it.
