Ocean View -huoneistoa pitkin Maine's Scenic Penobscot Bay

Tule jäädä tähän tilavaan merinäköalaon, josta on näkymät Penobscot-lahdelle, Maalin viehättävien rannikkokylien ja satamien sydämessä. Makuuhuone ja kylpyhuone sisältää king size-vuode ja kävellä ulos kannella. Kaksi muuta tilavaa makuuhuonetta ovat kaksi erillistä vuodetta ja täysikokoinen vuode. We had a wonderful stay at this lovely property. The apartment is spacious, filled with light and well laid out. As many other reviewers have noted, the view is absolutely sensational. The furniture is all comfortable, the kitchen is well-stocked, and everything was scrupulously clean. The folks in the office were helpful and, despite some initial apprehensions, we found that we enjoyed being part of the RV park--it's quiet and everyone was very friendly. We visited Fort Knox, the Penobscot Narrows Bridge (don't miss the bridge--it's stunning), Blue Hill village and the town of Castine. All made for easy day trips. There was a lot more we wanted to do--we will definitely return and next time we'll stay longer!

PERFECTION!

The first thing you notice upon entering the apartment, is that the online pictures do not do it justice!! It is a stunning view. It is exceptionally clean in every single crack, corner, and crevice. The kitchen is well stocked with things you may need. There are plenty of blankets to enjoy cool nights out on that lovely wraparound deck. The deck overlooks the manicured grounds of the RV resort and a beautiful view of the bay spread out in front of you. Grab a cooler and a couple of chairs and a favorite book and take the short walk down to the beach. At low tide. you have a nice wide beach to dip your toes in the water and enjoy the sound of the waves and lobster boats. This trip was four of us adult women together for a weekend trip. This place is a hidden gem as it is close to Camden Hills for some hiking, the downtown of Belfast with its lovely restaurants and Harbor walk, and further north Sears Island has plenty of nature walks. If you really felt adventurous you could even go into Acadia national park. We will absolutely be back as we are locals from Maine and this has the best of what Maine has to offer. Thank you so much for the cleanliness and the friendly staff at the RV resort.

Beautiful view and access to Belfast Bay

We really enjoyed our stay! The accommodations were comfortable and the location made it easy to go to town or stay in and watch the lobsterman tend to their traps in the bay.

Moorings RV campground is the more your looking for!

The apartment above the office exceeded our expectations in every way. It is a beautiful clean space with an amazing few. It was well stocked from kitchenware to bed linens and towels. With a family of 7, the washer and dryer were greatly appreciated. Having basic cleaning supplies available was also nice. Evenings were enjoyed on the deck with a view. The surrounding campground was peaceful and folks were friendly. Being a short distance away from so many wonderful places to see and enjoy made our week long trip so worth it! Anyone headed toward Belfast Maine should check this place out. It will not disappoint!!

Very Nice Apartment

The apartment was great. Roomy and well appointed. The only drawback was the many stairs to get to the apartment. The location was convenient. The adjacent campground was quiet. The grounds were manicured. The view was great. The king sized bed was supremely comfortable.

So beautiful and convenient

Great spot with amazing view. Loved Belfast, especially Young’s lobster pound, used lobster pot and other provided pots and pans to prepare lobster and steamers in the apartment, twice. Went up the tower at Penobscot Narrows bridge and had beers and appetizers at Marshal Wharf brewery. Apartment was spacious and clean for 5 adults…lots of stairs so not suitable for folks with mobility issues, but we were fine. We recommend and would absolutely return if the opportunity presents.

We all LOVED this place

Way better than our expectations. Even though I'd been in Belfast many times during the latter part of my working career, occasionally with my wife, we were both blown away and the 2 sisters who joined us (who live across the street from us in Sun City, AZ) felt the same. We wanted a place near Acadia but not as busy as Ellsworth or as expensive as Bar Harbor. Perfect. Great property! Nice folks. EASY......with a view.

Fantastic place; better than what's shown

A real hidden gem. The listing doesn't do it justice. The view is breathtaking. If you want to see RV'ers do it, it's a great lesson. Unfortunately, since the virus panic, no one has the little extras like spices or anything that might consider 'transfering germs.' Understand this.. it is for most places. The place is amazing.

College Friends Getaway

My husband and I brought old college friends all the way from the west coast. We absolutely LOVED IT. Had everything we needed. Had a great living room. We all ate dinner together around the large dining room table. We all wished that we were staying for longer. 1hr 30ish minutes to Acadia. About 30 min from Camden (our favorite spot). Would absolutely recommend to anyone. We attempted to use the grill but the propane tank was rusted shut so we made hotdogs on the stovetop. They were still delicious.

Large Comfortable Apartment

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ocean View Apartment on Penabscot Bay near Belfast, ME! It was a large, spacious and clean apartment. The personnel were very kind, helpful and easy to work with.
