We booked for 9 nights at this hotel and enjoyed our stay. Bed was comfortable. Fridge, safe, and coffee maker in room. Microwave in common area with open area to sit or view the gardens or harbour view. Security and hotel staff were very helpful from arranging taxis, providing info, and having available delicious local food. Farmers market, grocery, restaurants, and water taxi within walking distance.

One South Place Hotel is a perfect place to stay while visiting Belize City. My wife and I could not speak more highly of this Hotel. The neighborhood is safe and perfectly situated on the waterfront. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. The pricing is very reasonable. Thanks so much for a great stay South Place! We hope to return in the future!

lovely owners. very kind to my sons. went out of the way to get us dinner and make sure we were safe. Staff was friendly and helpful everyone from the cleaners, to the cafe cookers, to the owners we were very well taken care of. highly recommend.

I felt like I had known the owners for a long time, they make you feel right at home. David helped me order some food to be delivered to the hotel because it was getting late and it was a long 24 hours of traveling. Short walk to the harbour and to the ferry to Caye Caulker and San Pedro.
