Great place if you need to be in the city. There is plenty of coast nearby but no accessible beach. The neighborhood is pretty upscale but the infrastructure is decaying, like big pits in the sidewalk with 5 foot sinkholes. Good restaurants nearby, very friendly and helpful staff which went out of their way for us All the extra things we wanted while staying here the staff here made it happen. Default amenities are an average pool and in room mini bar don't expect any more. You can trust them to book excursions and services for you without cheating you.

Nestled in a quiet corner of Belize City, The Palms offers a truly intimate escape. From the moment you arrive, there's a sense of tranquility that washes over you. The staff are genuinely warm and attentive, striking that perfect balance between being helpful and respecting your privacy. The suites themselves are spacious and beautifully appointed, often featuring a kitchenette, a comfortable living area, and even a private balcony overlooking the inviting pool. There's a real feeling of having your own little sanctuary. Days can be spent lounging by the impeccably clean pool, soaking up the Belizean sun, or perhaps indulging in a rejuvenating spa treatment. Evenings are for quiet moments, perhaps with a drink on your balcony, or enjoying a meal delivered right to your suite.

The room and location were great, and the staff was a helpful and friendly. Walking distance to many restaurants and pickup location for most excursions. The only downside was that there was no ice machine, but no big deal. I'd recommend staying here and traveling to San Pedro for a day or two instead of staying in San Pedro if you're coming to Belize.

The hotel is cozy and the most beautiful modern hotel in the area. At first I hated it because of the location but the location is what made it worth it in the end. Close enough to get to anything you need but far enough away to not be in the mix the entire time. It is definitely what you make it.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel so much. It’s small, meaning it’s quiet and not crowded with people but has a great pool area and gym like a bigger hotel. The room was new and modern with lots of great features. Location was great, very close to the municipal airport and short drives to water taxis. An area with bars and restaurants was just a short walk away. What really makes this hotel stand out is the people. Ahead of time Laura and Julia were very helpful messaging about what to expect and asking if we needed airport transfers or an excursion booked. The on-site hotel staff were equally friendly and helpful. We ended up spending a lot if time with Avi, as he was our airport and excursion driver. He educated us and entertained us along the way, ensuring we got to see exactly what we wanted to on our excursion. The prices charged by the hotel for the airport transfers and excursion were extremely reasonable.

This stay way amazing! The room was big, clean, and very comfortable. The pool area was relaxing for sitting out from morning until night. The staff was very accommodating for our questions and requests (including an engagement proposal). They had suggestions for excursions, transportation, and dining. We felt safe going and coming from the time we shuttled from the airport. Thanks to Sheridan and the best driver, Avi and the rest of the staff that made sure every day was a vacation! Also thanks to our Xunantunich tour guide Eder who was an expert. Also our cave tubing guide Edwin truly showed us the beauty of the land. We look forward to visiting again.

Lovely Hidden Gem!

Beautiful, high end, boutique hotel. The room is very large and comfortable. Equipped with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Bed is very comfortable! We absolutely loved the pool. Perfect size and very clean.

An amazing oasis in Belize City. Gorgeously appointed. Quiet. Love it. We have decided this will be our go-to destination when we are in the city overnight. Oh. And I can't leave without mentioning the UNBELIEVABLE coconut bread! YUM! What a delight the entire stay--both times we visited in the past couple of weeks.

The hotel was nice and clean, located in a quiet neighborhood, and conveniently close to restaurants. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. However, there was a disappointing issue regarding the wine in the room. Bottles were left out on the counter without clear signage or inclusion on the minibar list. A different brand was listed, which made the setup misleading. We assumed they were complimentary, but ended up being charged $60. It would be helpful if the hotel clarified this better to avoid confusion for future guests.

This boutique suite hotel was a wonderful place to end our trip to Belize! Suites are huge with kitchenette’s. All sites overlook the pool. Staff was attentive. One person in our party was celebrating a birthday & they brought us fresh coconut bread! There is not a restaurant or bar BUT they do have minibars in suites with lots of options. Prices are reasonable. The pool area is nice. They have a small gym & a spa which we did not have time to try. This is a hidden oasis.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay, the room was huge, a lot of space and clean. Housekeeping service was on point. The pool was a very nice addition and amenity, there was a diner within walking distance that was great. My only complaint was the water was a little cool from my shower, but once I notified staff, they fixed it immediately.
