Excellent location

This little attic apartment is in a great location, a 5 minute walk to the train station and right next to the Bellano ferry stop, as well as cafes and restaurants. There was plenty of hot water so great for showers. However, the beds were very uncomfortable. I slept on the pull out couch and there were bars under every conceivable pressure point on my body, while my cousin slept in the bedroom and said that it was also very uncomfortable. I think the couch would be fine for a small child, but certainly not for an adult. The only other complaint is that a 4pm check-in is very late when you are traveling with bags, and the storage location across the street doesn’t have lockers big enough for anything larger than a carry-on bag.

Beautiful view, somewhat dirty

The check-in process was complicated but they provided detailed instructions which helped a lot. It was a short walk from public transportation and had an amazing view of the town above, surrounding mountains, and lake below. However, it was lacking in cleanliness––the sponge in the kitchen sink had seeds all over it and I spotted some cobwebs, even inside the apartment. The bathroom hand soap did not sud at all, so we had to use dish soap from the kitchen. Also, be aware that the ceiling is very low in some spots (especially over the bed and shower), but we are short and did not mind! The location and beautiful view made up for its lack in cleanliness. We did enjoy our stay!

Phenomenal views

The location was perfect! We were right on the water and right across from The ferry. There were plenty of restaurants within a short walk and the views were astronomical. The property was clean and cozy - we had an absolutely wonderful time here!

Kurzurlaub in Bellano mit Hund

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral am Hafen, alles schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Ist Nachts dafür etwas lauter. Im deutschen Inserat steht, dass ein Parkplatz dabei ist, das stimmt so nicht. Es gibt in der Nähe Parkplätze die man bezahlen muss und ein paar wenige, die umsonst sind. Da braucht’s etwas Glück. Die Küche ist sehr klein, wir haben sie aber auch nicht gebraucht, es gibt genug leckere Restaurants um die Ecke. Das Café in der Altstadt ist ein Highlight und darf man nicht verpassen. Bellano ist sehr schön und traditionell. Und hat es sehr gut gefallen.
